Totally agree about the Carolina Herrera Good Girl Blush. I had to go to five different Sephoras and Ultas 1 and 2 hours away from my house to center city DC to even find a Sephora that still had any in stock. The others didn’t even have testers! When I smelled it, I was so disappointed I just start looking around like…. “is this a joke?” I ended up getting the Kayali pistachio gelato, Choo Forever and a contour brush. The only good thing is I was out with a good friend and we had a good time and good food while out that day. But for the most part, I agree with the opinions and sentiment in this video about the fragrances.
I've bought Nérolia Vétiver Harvest, the limited edition. That amped up beautiful and natural honey touch (especially present in the drydown) is addictive! 😉
I like the new blush good girl but exactly my thought also..it reminded me of a torned down, powdery, pink delina. Too many fragrances turn into that direction..we really need smth really new..
@Joanna Applewhite I’m glad it works for you, no matter how much everyone else dislikes something should never change your opinion or effect how you feel about it. Rock it in good health and happiness! I loved it when I smelled on a card but with my chemistry it was abhorrent. I had to scrub it off immediately. I was so disappointed because I feel head over heels with the way it smelled on paper.
I totally agree about Un Jardin Cythère. I just bought it! After I saw this video, I went to Sephora and I tried it first. After I sprayed , I was confused because it was something very unique, a mixture of lemons/salty popcorn/ olives… I didn’t know what to think. After around five min., it turned into very natural beautiful lemon and salts, but then after around 15 minutes it became something very beautiful. To me the dry down is very nice , like lemon with sage and some bitterness of olives, very calming to me. Very unique and beautiful! Many times I need to take a shower or to wash my arms because I don’t like the dry down of many parfumés, but this one has a great dry down. Superb for summer too!
Oh dear, thank you for saying you were sick of something (the Zara Angel Elixir) because of overspraying it. I did that with one of my favourite smells from Gucci and it’s been a year now since and I’ve still not entirely “recovered”. Glad I’m not the only one it happens to!
Picked up the Hermes also during the sale and it's lovely - I combined it with Wood Sage & Seal Salt one day and was very happy with the combo. Happy Mother's Day 🦋
The clerk at the store said Hermes Un Jardin à Cythère smelled just like the air in Crete and she is absolutely right😅 First i throught it was just her personal memory but when i smelled it i could really see what she meant. I dont know what, maybe the olive tree note, but something reminded me of Crete🤗
This was so helpful, Yana. The time stamp on Angel Elixir might be a little too early. I will definitely check on the Hermes one. I also love Christine Nagels compositions ❤
Great video, Yana! ❤ How does Hermes A Cythere differ in vibe and scent profil from LPRN Eau Fraiche? 🤔 It’s taking all of my will-power from blind buying!! 😅
It's more mature than LPRN eau fraiche and has a distinct olive-y scent. They're pretty different from one another aside from the fact that they're both freshies 🥰
FYI Mediterranean honeysuckle smells 97% like the dossier version for the Jo Malone nectarine blossom and honey. I have the sample of the Aerin version and the dossier. It’s really close
Hi good morning happy Wednesday morning and I hope you having amazing day today and I loved your vlogs and you are amazing Supporter and I'm proud of you
Great vid Yana! That Hermes is a bit of a shocker I won't lie. 😄 My first impression was not good at all. On paper, to be fair. Not bad in terms of quality, just the scent profile kinda turned my stomach. No worries, I always revisit stuff. Incidentally, I've really been digging Zara's Sunrise on the Red Sand Dunes and Sand Desert at Sunset lately. The former more so since the warmer weather kicked in a few days ago. Should be an awesome rest of the week before the Alberta smoke haze reaches us. We need as many good intentions as we can muster for all those affected. 🙏
I love Florist. Every time I would go to Sephora, I would stop to smell it. So, now I want the full bottle. It's not a ground breaking scent, but it's a very, very pleasant and fresh fragrance. I was also drawn to the color of the bottle.
I actually really like the KKW gardenia crystal as a simple uplifting gardenia scent but I know it's discontinued and hard to find :( I'll work on a white florals list with a focus on gardenia 😉
Yana, your descriptions are perfection. It's almost like having the scent come through the TV. I've never tried any Zara fragrances. Your son must be absolutely precious. What an incredible age. He's the same age as my grandson. Thanks, Yana. Have a wonderful Mother's Day. Oops, I forgot. You're in Canada and your Mother's day has already passed. Hope it was a great one.❤❤
@@TheScented sorry. I'm just getting over Covid and the brain fog is real. I was thinking of the UK celebrating before us. I apologize. Happy Mother's Day! Oh, I picked up a sample size of the Initio Psychedelic Love, and it's incredible! Thanks again for the suggestion! 💖💖
Loving the new LVEB Iris Absolu. Didn’t love the new Hermes Jardin release. Waiting to get my nose on My Way Le Parfum, which is also supposed to be Iris heavy, but it seems unavailable in Canada now
I really liked the new Hermes on paper, can't believe it's getting so many negative reviews. The Angel Elixir bored me to tears and I really dislike the vanilla in it.
Since having my first child 13 years ago I stopped wearing perfume. None do the ones I was wearing before are it now. What would you recommend for a light (not heavily sweet) flowery every day scent?
Those recommendations are great and I'd add Bvlgari Omnia Crystalline, Jo Malone English Pear & Freesia and Les Parfums de Rosine Le Magnolia de Rosine
😂😂 I usually share all your opinions, but….this Hermes…. 🙄 I bought it and give away immediately. Total dissapointment for me 🙈 it feels to me a such average scent comparing to others in this line. Zara Red Temptation Summer is watered down BR540 with the same medicinal note - dont like it, but its pretty good one as for Zara.
I just bought a travel size Versace Dylan Turquoise which I like a lot more than the D&G Light Blue. It embodies how a woman should smell like and very feminine and fresh for summer months. And the turquoise color on the bottle is mesmerizing! 🩵I only got about 2 hours if not more than 3 hours in longevity and projection. Later throughout the day it becomes very faint. Not sure if anyone would smell me since I live alone. However, I plan to wear it to work and see what my co workers think. I have Maison Marie 09 oil fragrance. I don’t reach for it much because it got a little stale. Not what I had smelt like originally at Sephora. I was disappointed but I definitely love the 04 because it reminds me of Tom Ford Soleil Blanc. The Santal note is amazing for summertime. I should have gotten that one instead of the 09 one. I’m definitely going to check out the Jardin flankers from the Hermes line. There’s one I really love but doesn’t last on me at all. I love bergamot, pitchastio, and some white floral with drop of Santal vibe for summer. Great review Yana!
