I've recently started watching y'alls videos with captions on and I die laughing because of them. hahaha. like the lip gloss/tissue issue hahaha. **[grasps tissue with malice]** hahahah omg I'm dead
The Jimmy Neutron hair just sent me LOL I don't know if it's because I'm "of that time", but you guys just looked so normal in those pictures. As you said, it's just what people wore then. xD
@Tamaira Elise only if they are identical twins. Fraternal is separate eggs. I assume they're identical but I thought that about the Olsen twins and they're Fraternal so 🤷🏻♀️
“God we look so Mexican” 👀 As someone who is Mexican heritage on both side I felt caught and cracked up laughing because I had JUST thought “wow you can really see the Mexican side in that picture “
@@S_Kirahhh No, there's isn't one bit Desi in their apperance. As a born and bred and resident Desi, I can confirm they look very Southern European/Mediterranean/ Greek. Which tracks cuz they have Hispanic heritage.
Found it! 🤣🤣🤣 I actually thought they looked very handsome in that picture especially Marcus! Maybe that's why! The familiarity of the Mexican look. I think mostly Marcus really though 😆
Currently watching. As a straight female, I still totally would’ve been pointlessly pining for emo Robert and James in my teens. 🤣 Glad you guys found your niche!
As a women who looked up some tv show crushes and found out they are all married to men and have kids, I felt this on a spiritual level. Also, they all had black hair and blue eyes😂. Life is funny.
6:31 "See we always used to have colours growing up. Mine was always green. Yours was red and Marcus' was blue." My head went straight to Alvin and the chipmunks 😅🤣
“Did we actually just have to take a minute for you to put lipgloss on?!” 😅 Robert and James are the only ones I’d watch do a 2 minute intro of just messing about because they are still so entertaining.
10:59 just made me laugh so much, not the picture, you guys are adorable but the laughter 😂 Also I had a bucket hat like that, cause Britney wore one once haha and I’ve always been so embarrassed looking back but now I’m like well if it’s good enough for James than I’m good with it! 😎
We need a part 2 of your early 20s faSHUN choices! These pictures are simply historically accurate representations of the basic millennial teenage boy. I also think we need a chronology of James’s hair from curtains to mohawk etc. 😆🤣💜🖤💜
I'm 43 so I can totally relate to the whole process of taking a picture. I was the friend who always had a disposable camera and loved capturing fun times. I can still remember the excitement I would feel from taking them to get developed (always paying extra for the 1 hour development) and picking them up. I'm so glad I have a lot of pictures from my teenage years/early 20s.
So, a tank top is called a vest and a vest is called a waist coat? That's so interesting to me. I love learning new terms/words that other countries use.
@@polianarchy when you have your hair in a strong middle part and each side drapes like a curtain. Kindof like the mcdonalds logo lol! (realising that curtains might be an english word so they are the drape things that cover your windows with 2 bits of material that you pull across)
@@cnahanee4 yep! in general a vest is a sleeveless top, a waistcoat is a smart sleeveless jacket with buttons and a gilet is like if someone took a coat and cut the sleeves off, they normally zip up. Sorry if i'm over explaining anything, i'm excited that being english has a use suddenly haha! (great name by the way lol!)
Ashton, the CC after "we were snobs" that reads 'Tory laughter' is fucking beautiful. Even as an American, that made me laugh aloud. If you aren't using the CCs, you are missing out.
17:12 “I think that’s our real color but we just started wearing sunscreen and not going anywhere”. As an introvert that used to be always on the beach as a children because my mom loved it, I can relate
Throughout the years you guys look exactly like all the boys I went to school with: cargo pants, vests, and bowl haircuts in the 90s; graffiti tees and somewhat spikey hair in the early 2000s; then the polos and fauxhawks that transformed into the emo style in the mid/late 2000s. Definitely made me a bit nostalgic.
Omg. I laughed so hard when you looking at the second picture talking about how tan you looked there. I have shown pics of myself from my youth to people and they always ask who’s that. I always say that’s the naturally tan version of me when I used to go outside before I started working nights locked in a hospital basement all the time. Lol
I see what Marcus did there with that last pic. He looks like a fox and his younger brothers look goofy. I see you. You guys were so cute and I think everyone one of us that are in our thirties had some dismal fashion. I used to wear Jnco jeans all the time. I looked so stupid in them but I loved them.
In some of the pictures you really look like those Tik Tok Boys nowadays. this middlepart hair and the baggy clothes...I really liked those chic clothes with the waistcoats and tuxedo..
Honestly as someone born in England in the 90s, this brought back so many memories omg. All that was missing is the body glitter and panda pops at the school disco 😂
Wait. Did James and Robert swap faces as they got older?! Because in the picture at Ashton’s Dad’s house, James looks like Robert now and Robert looks like James now! Actual sorcery!
loved this! your 90s and early 2000s fashion would be a goldmine for any gen z depop seller, they'd be out here selling that reversible bucket hat at a 200% markup
Love this so much!! Crazy how everything in this vid brings back so many memories- Emo skinny jeans, The Used, Emo fringes we’d cut ourselves to hide the forehead acne that said fringes would cause…I’m glad we made it out alive 🥲 And then Marcus leaving in that lovely note-to-self at the end 💜 🖤 magical 🤣 Please tell me there’s a part 2 of your early 20’s & up!! 🙏🙏🙏
You two are around 5 years older than me, so I would have been like 12 or 13 in your emo days. You would be my fashion ICONS! The coolest dudes that I actually knew from the neighborhood.
This will sound funny, but I feel I kind of look like James, in the second picture next to the reversible hat one, but at age... 12/13... I'm a girl that looked like a boy. If there was a way of showing you a photo I would (people still take me for a man from time to time... And don't understand why, there are 2 visible reasons why not to make that mistake)
Note to self: it's a very unprofessional idea to put a Welsh Twins video on while waiting for your stupid time clock software to load because everyone in the office will hear you laughing your a** off.
