Paris is like switzerland, belgium is like paris and reapets. When i was in brussels we avoided going to paris cuz of the prices but the prices of the supermarkets left us shocked lol
Yeah, It's super expensive. Especially if you compare to the rest of France but if there wasn't so many tourists they wouldn't have to inflate the prices. You pay for the glamour of the word "Paris" more than the city itself. Which is a cool city but not that great in my opinion. I'd rather stroll through a small medieval town honestly.
@@dimitrakapa4887 not defending the price, but “spoon of pasta” is not a good unit of measurement when the spoon is that big. That amount of pasta is still a small pot-full, you literally see it in the video. 39 euro for that amount is still expensive, but over exaggerating like that is too much.
@@inter.stellar I mean in Spain you can get real italian carbonara on a cheese wheel for 16-20€ in many places. I know Spain is slightly cheaper than France but not half as cheap, and the pasta was carbonara so it has meat in it
As an Italian, the idea of a “real Italian carbonara” served on a cheese wheel is hilarious. I’m sure it was delicious, but it was by no mean authentic!
Oh, that cheese wheel pasta is a huge rip off. 1) because the price is just outrageous 2) they're using cream which is the first sign of cutting corners and being lazy in Italian cooking. Cream is used by cooks that don't know how to produce a creamy sauce without the use of cream. Highly disappointing and actually infuriating to see people do that bs.
We went to Pink Mama and waited outside for HOURS with a long line of people behind us. It eventually started raining around the 2-3 hour timestamp and the restaurant couldn’t do anything except give us 4 umbrellas and that did nothing obviously. They finally let us in after 4-5 hours for dinner by banging the doors as an entrance but the food was good. Just not good enough to make up for the horrible fever I got a day later.
omg the pasta boxes were my childhood cuz my dad wirked there when i was young. my dad recently went on a business trip to france and i made him get me like 10 boxes
