Most geometry dash players dont consider the game as a rhythm game, despite its description as such. The reason is because for a level to even be considered good in geometry dash it doesnt have to have sync. Many levels dont depend on inputs when music beats happen and it always pains me to see people call it rhythm based
plus, theres literally no bpm feature in the editor and the time frame to press an input is variable so its basically impossible to make a level thats accurate to the music
11:25 I love how rhythm heaven is probably one of the most fun rhythm game but you put it in highly questionable only because you couldn’t start it lol
@@mrchoochooguy4045 it's not even because of that, the guy didn't even flick properly, to flick, you need to release when moving the mouse. what he did is, he moved the mouse, and released after stopping to move the mouse
I wonder why he decided to do probably the WORST Rhythm Heaven game for emulating (control wise). He should have gone for Rhythm Heaven Fever on Dolphin.
@@regularrickyy true, although if you search “Rhythm Heaven” the DS version will appear because it’s just the name of it. He definitely should’ve tried Fever
launch mindset: bad at game = bad game, say good things about game then give game bad rank, criticises bad graphics on a game made before he was even born, game he knows = honest and deeper review
I know its just his opinion, but man... Putting RH in questionable just because he didnt knew how to start it and playing Parappa in a crappy website 💀
The reviews were a little bias and if he has like 10 hours put into a game, The game will go to the "Absolute Masterpiece" but if he was bad at the game and hasn't played for long enough, It will go to the "Mid", The JSAB one are the bane of my existence.
@@epic_crafter69 Yeah, but it's kinda unfair that he has over 1000 hours on osu!, while on JSAB he has only played the tutorial and never played the rest of the game before coming to conclusion.
I mean i have plyaed half of the games in the list for more than i should and jsab, adofai, rhythm heaven really has fun learning curve with sick music and gameplay parts
@@haroldasgaming6088 The Rhythm Heaven, just don't know why some of the games that he plays is on emulator since PaParappa Needs a ps1 controller to play properly, Rhythm Heaven and Elite Beat Agents needs a DS that is functional.
bro used a mouse for adofai and then called it mid💀, and super hexagon is an underrated masterpiece imo. also rhythm doctor should be higher, it gets way more fun the more you play, and the custom levels? AMAZING
What is there to understand? Bad guy conquers the world, hero beats him and restore peace. Ok, there is development to the state the world gets after being conquered, but come on, the history isnt any deep. Or Is there anything deep to the history that i am just too dumb to understand?
I can't take this tier list so serious honestly since the reviews were more like "If am bad, I don't like" instead of going a little more deeper and learning how the game works and If it does accimplish as a rhythm game. GD shouldn't be in the list from the start btw...
@@Pher_uite Dude, I am a veteran rhythm game player, I know about rhythm games, I can play many rhythm games decently and without dying. And this dude over here only says "This rhythm game is bad because I am bad at playing it" You are only defending what's indefensible. Just take the L and face the truth, this Tier List is stupid and have no sense.
isnt that like all games like osu you need skins for it to be a better game and fnf is kinda the same things with the mods some other games are made the same and there's only a game and then you can actually beat it unlike games like fnf cause there's always mods for it
Bro JSAB is a STORY game. And he only just got past the tutorial, he doesn't even know about the friends you make along the way, and the cool bossfights, and the- Yea he did say it was gonna be biased and just his opinion... but I really think he should maybe try to play more of the game someday.
melatonin: rhythm heaven pc port muse dash: taiko but you move up and down adofai: circles fnf: it's just a game geometry dash: it's platformer lol rhythm doctor: heartbeat but rhythm jsab: it's a bullet hell game lol osu: you can never quit osu super hexagon: it's a game lol beat saber: workout for your hands robeats: scumbag rhythm heaven: things but rhythm parappa the rapper: sing but with buttons elite beat agents: osu stole that one arcaea: fingers at top lofi room: that one steam sales gamen
@@_UberEats_ its a RPG rhythm game what do you expect also its still trash even without it being P2W I used to play songs on it (Level 30+ songs) Its now owned by gamefam they make all their games P2W and they underpay their own workers and if you search their name up a whole bunch of drama videos will show up Another game they own is called Funky Friday (FnF but roblox) FF is not P2W they only make money from people buying skins and money
@@v1ku390 in robeats you literally have to pay to have better accuracy, and in funky friday the game is so lenient, you could hit something like 0.6 seconds after and it would still be perfect
I mean I played it and it's definitely fun but there's little to no tapping to the beat, it's mainly a bullet hell game with music, it has a good selection of music but that's all it is, selecting music and bullet hell gameplay JSAB is good but calling it a rhythm game is stretching it a bit
FNF is mostly known for its mods and not by the game itself. Like how Geometry Dash is mostly known for its community-made levels. Most FNF mods are trash, like most of the levels of GDs recent tab, because of children attempting to be popular. But there are also popular mods, most of them are mediocre tho. And then there's the unreleased stuff which are f-ing bangers. Sorry for the ramble bro. Peace But the devs are planning on an update. Its been 2 years, are they planning to be the next Robtop?
My fav mod in fnf it’s VS Camillia i think that’s how it’s spelled but, I like it bc their mania and they improve skill and as a Mobil player that doesn’t have a pc I use roblox funky Friday game ;-;
Arcaea is one of my favourite rhythm games, but the grind is genuinely so terrible. World mode might just be one of the worst mechanics in all of rhythm games, and doing it takes a lot of effort, especially as a F2P player. If you want to truly enjoy the game, you will have to cash in, since all the hard songs are in the song packs, which might deter a lot of people, but it’s definitely worth it. If you’re willing to spend a few bucks, I’d say buy the main story packs first, especially ‘Vicious Labrynth’, ‘Luminous Sky’ and ‘Black Fate’ since they have the partners and tracks to unlock the hidden chapter, which imo have some of the best (or masochistic depending on how you look at it) charts in the game. ALSO DOES YOUR FAVOURITE RHYTHM GAME HAVE LESBIAN MASCOTS
@@splitseed The community pisses me off sometimes Like when did hatsune miku hav- Okay fine BUT ONLY- UGHSHABGHBGHBDHWBARSJHAJDSGBJHDBHJWEDILJKSH I hate it I just hate it hate it hate it hate it I HATE IT I hope im not the only one who feels like that I would rank FnF on 2nd lowest spot because atleast it brought rhythm games into the spotlight and got pulled along with the mods
As a die hard jsab fan i can confirm it is indeed bussin Its hard and fun at the same time, and there's tons of unlockable stuff. It's also got online so that's cool. I get It's not for everyone but i personally love the game.
just shapes and beats (jsab) is a really fun game if you like grinding (for the bonus songs) or like good story (story mode) or even a fun challenge (S ranking songs on hardcore) in my opinion you should get it another shot someday. you might like it.
i’d argue that ADOFAI is a bit underrated here. the game may not be beginner friendly, but that’s because the really good stuff is locked behind higher level content
i love how because it is brutal from the very beginning, when you keep playing nothing feel truly impossible (maybe the hardest customs, those things are insane)
If you want to win leaderboards get Legendary gears Nvm thats pretty much a hard job + impossible to get the tokens I would only say classic mode if beginner friendly but other than that its pretty P2W (TYSM GAMEFAM/s) I play level 30+ songs in that game and yeah the patterns just get worse by the level IMO My GP is 2000 but still shit compared to leaderboard players
I feel like you are missing some really good mobile games like Project sekai, 4k games like osu! mania and quaver and just downright Pulsus. PULSUS IS SO UNDERRATED IT NEEDS MORE ATTENTION.
@@andrewle4989 a little late, but I'd really recommend it. I've been playing for 5 years now and is one of my favorite games to go to after a long day at work, but that's mostly because being able to choose from a massive catalog of songs makes it awesome
Launch literally resembles an actual rhythm gamer. When they play a new game they skip every level and find the hardest level to play. Also I never knew that launch was this good at gd or played gd at all and should make gd videos
I usually don’t feel attacked by opinions but putting melatonin over Arcaea is the worst opinion someone could have (coming from someone who owns the entire Arcaea game and spent like my entire life playing it)
Gd,jsab and super hexagon are not rythym games. Sure, rythym is used a lot in JSAB, but its based around rythym. Not a rythym game. Do you need the sence of rythym to just move around with a blue rectangle? I don’t think so. Also, sync in GD can be horribly done, or perfect. But when using ship or swingcopter… not much rythym is there?
A dance of fire and ice is a masterpiece when it comes to custom level fun but your right with putting it at mid because the standart level are just boring
My face when you put Rhythm Heaven in Highly Questionnable : 😐🤨 (I recommend you to play Rhythm Heaven Fever or Megamix, It’s more simple that the DS Version, also It’s better to play Rhythm Heaven DS on a real DS for a better experience)
bro couldn't get past the title screen for rhythm heaven(btw you have to let go to the mouse to flick, just like she released the stylus from the screen to show you)
Melatonin: 0:16 (My personal favorite) Muse dash: 1:42 A dance of fire and ice: 2:30 Friday night funkin: 4:09 Geometry dash: 5:21 Rhythm doctor: 6:25 Just shapes and beats: 7:17 Osu: 8:28 Super hexagon: 8:56 Beat saber 9:30 Robeats: 9:49 Also this is very short because im skipping parts. Rhythm heaven: 10:57 Parpappa the rapper 11:28 Elite beat agents: 12:44 Arcaea 13:26 14:16 (lofi room) Gives me good feeling bc of kitty (last one)
"If you enjoy a really good challenge, and you love how it feels to complete hard achievements, then GD could be the game for you." Brother that's like, every rhythm game.
reason why you can't even play rhythm heaven is because you have to let go of the mouse the moment you reach top speed of the flick. plus, the game is intended for the DS, so controls are wonky for PC
Okay i actually enjoy Friday night funkin The only reason why people hate it is because RU-vid kids just straight up destroyed it And fnf was never made for money like it was a unexpected success plus there is endless content to it because every day there is a new mod out there
"I think I offended the whole rhythm gaming community", I think only the Rhythm Heaven and FNF communities, the others were pretty fair reviews, although Rhythm Doctor could have been higher, with Beat Saber and Osu
did rhythm heaven super dirty - to flick in the ds game you have to let go while swiping lol its not super fun with a mouse so i tned to use my drawing tablet, if you want a good keyboard rhythm heaven game you shoulda done fever - the game for the wii. its a lot better than the ds game in my opinion
