Shane’s outfit is his whole character. Old, stained and smells of beer. He can’t afford another one because of his drinking habits and it was given to him by Joja as a “New Hire gift”.
As a fellow poor that spends all my money not on beer but (doctor prescribed) mountain medicine that lets me live like almost a human and wears old-ass clothes, I feel it.

Thank you for that and even though I don't know enough to love you back, I sure as heck love this trait of expressing such positive things to others about you. However, I do have a gripe with this whole "validation" thing. I am saddened that many people need to hear their experiences or feelings be validated by others because *of course* my feelings, struggles and experiences are valid. I don't blame the marginalized communities for expressing this sentiment because many people need that validation. I blame society and parents for fostering an environment in which young people growing up have their _feelings_ and _experiences_ treated as somehow not real and stupid? They are signals that our brain receives and hormones entering the bloodstream. Of course they are real, we even have ways of measuring them... In short, I feel like in an ideal world we would have no validation nor invalidation, because we are *obviously* all valid, along with our feelings and experiences. consider this: shane is being sustainable, joja branded stuff was probs given to him by the company and he's not letting it go to waste :) we love a thrifty king!
I kind of assumed Shane was just reusing his uniform, where I'm from its common for supermarkets to give their employees branded fleeces to wear when it gets cold, since most tills are by the doors and also because most staff have to shift stock in the walk in freezers in the back rooms, so I just figured he didnt care enough to buy himself a winter fleece/jumper when his work gave him a perfectly good one for free
I like to think Sebastian's winter outfit is a reference to early 2000s Gerard Way (had the same scarf and whole look actually) which is so in character for him

The scarf really fits him. Like, I think a person like him won't care much about appearance (his aesthetic is really cool though). So just a scarf like that is enough.
@xX-Wisteria-Xx and once you get to know him he cuts back and goes to therapy, addiction is not a sin, it's something he needs help with and he gets it, let my boy have his beanie and jacket. And honestly? Making fun of his joja jacket kinda feels like those kids in middle school who would make fun of the poor kids for buying their clothes from Walmart or thrift stores :/ I remember getting VICIOUSLY bullied for having to by my school uniforms from Forman mills instead of the uniform stores
Some people have interpreted Harveys new jacket as embroidered, in fanart they make those swirls on his collar so much fancier! I wish he had a hat, wouldn’t a doctor know that heat escapes through the head?
Shane just playing smart and using the winter jacket he got for free instead of buying a new one. I imagine blue is one of his favorite colors too so it works out. Tho I adore his fit!
Sebastian is giving Gru but with hair and purple. Sam was a slight jumpscare because I almost thought they added a new bachelor because who knew he could look that good in a beanie.

you did Shane dirty, he doesn't have a lot of money and his life is pretty much work-bar-sleep, agreed he should spend less on beer, BUT as someone who didn't have a lot of money for a while, I used my work jacket as well when it was cold out
