This is a really cool mod but it's also a punch in the gut knowing that will probably never get 3 + 4 hopefully Microsoft wises up given their acquisition of Activision Blizzard maybe Tony Hawk can convince them to make it.
Super cool to see this stuff on the 1+2 engine. Still bummed the fuck out that 3+4 won't be happening anytime soon because of greedy Activision not giving a damn about anything other than Call of Duty and Blizzard.
@@dneck Yes. On one hand it's cool to play old and familiar levels. On the other hand I played these 2 games to death I would like to see something new.
I'm a huge fan of this mod, it adds so much replay-ability to this game, and plus the recent manhattan which just previews that he's working on thug maps is incredible. If you have the pc version of this game, I recommend getting this mod!
Did he announce that he's working on the THUG maps officially? I honestly thought Manhattan was a one-off, for some reason, due to its popularity in the THUG Pro scene.
appreciate the quick and simple tutorial on how to install it also props to the modders they did a good job and they look legit too. Usually you can tell when something is modded but this looks like it was professionally made
It just feels kind of off seeing these levels with no peds around, i get that 1+2 was trying to go for the classic feel before peds were adding in 3, maybe that's another reason we never got any 3 or 4 level ports. If we ever see an actual remake of 3 or 4 i hope that they do fill up the levels with life, Not a fault of the mod author at all it's just how the game was designed.
So watching this video, specifically when you got to Shipyard, and it made me realize something. Imagine a map that just combines Shipyard, Oil Rig, and Cruise Ship. I feel like you have the space in Shipyard to attach them to the sides, and it might help with a lot of issues in the latter. (Well, okay, Oil Rig would still be Oil Rig, but Cruise Ship it'd def add a lot to I think.)
I'm so glad this mod exists. Muhcrew did great work, I hope this opens the door for a lot more levels, maybe even getting retextured to be more modern.
dude this is sick. any mods for the online mode in 1+2? because thats what killed the game for me. i want old school style lobbies or maybe i am uninformed about something.
Activision wouldnt let us have this so once again the fans come into to make right. I love 3 and 4, 4 is one of my favorite Tonys next to the new one and Underground 2, would love to play this whenever i buy the Epic version cuz lord knows Activision wont port this to Steam, theyd rather port COD Vanguard
Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3+4 needs to start in a new level of designing and building a PS1 and PS2 levels of playing all goals in the game to unlocking the secret character and other place in this game. Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3+4 got to be in the next series when the remaster of a new development to grinding the rail with a good connection.
Andy I know this is crazy subjective and variable, but how long does it take to create a map like LA, College, etc? Like we talking a week or like 6 months? Just trying to gauge how long the creators spent on the maps regardless if they're good or bad
Honestly I played most of these levels and they somehow felt off. plus the textures seemed off as well. Also the movement and such and the size of the map felt smaller. I personally didn't like the mod, But that's just me being picky. If anyone else enjoys it that's awesome
Ever thought of ranking create a parks in thps 1&2? And more importantly using rhe create a park to create your own creations. Could even stream the creatiot proxrss

Its a HUGE ask from the modding community. But it would be cool to see eventually re creation of the maps like how 1+2 got in the vanilla maps. Maybe one day someone is gonna be crazy enough to take that challenge
while i am a bit sad we may not get a THPS 3 + 4 they would initally have to develop to different mission engines. now THUG 1 + 2 has similar structure and connecting storylines.
I'm not big on remasters at all, I just play the originals because they're already there and the best way to play. But I'll never understand why they didn't just make a Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1-4 game. Why HD and why 1+2? Could have taken some of the flair and character from 3 and 4 and sprinkled little bits of similar personality throughout 1 and 2 and have it as 1 complete game. Either make it to where they're 100 percent satisfied with how it turned out, or just leave the games alone as classics.
20:53 Thankfully this level isn't present in all versions of the game. There is a Downhill level on some versions to replace Cruise Ship, and I think this is a good trade off considering the lack of linear levels.
very cool mod, is he going to try and add lighting or any other features I wonder? I see the beginnings of something amazing, its just not there yet in feeling up to par with the real deal.
I'd love to try this if either of the controllers I try to use with the PC port worked. Dual sense /ds5 just doesn't work without weird input issues (triggers being misread/constantly active once input once, the controller being listed as generic in the game, the keybinding is all wrong), and the Xbox elite controller somehow makes manuals happen all the time if I use analog stick at all which is how I grew up playing. Thanks for posting this video, I never heard of it till now at least

You've really got to dig at that website to find the mod to install it. Throw some instructions up for the noobs dude. I've got it running, but that link IS NOT user friendly.
Hiw do you not incorporate more vert into your combos? You would be absolutely disgusting starting off with back to back 900s and then leading into the long lines of grinds that you get into with all of the multipliers, plus finishing it off into a handstand manual, then B->X into a casper and cheesing the quick casper flipping for multipliers
