Today I found a lot of really interesting and unique reptile and amphibian setups from many of you. for the. soft beds for bearded dragons mine loves the one i made for him and its a tortilla which makes him a taco so.... yea they like them and yes they are a pain to clean :D

the whole hiding thing is horrible I get it it sucks if you can't have a snake but getting it anyways is so dangerous. Depending on how young you are your parent might wanna "sort out" some of your stuff and just take a plastic box like this and handle it non carefully or idk just smoke the house with incencse or idk it just seems risky to me to hide a living creature

I was hoping they meant hiding from view because the sight of a snake upset the mom. We had to do that with our first pet rats because they grossed our mom out at first. I do not at all agree with bringing unwanted animals into a house. If you want pets, wait until you move out. There is no excuse for that nonsense. Endangers animals and it's unfair to all the people involved too.

@@briannelson3830 If it needs medical attention you may not be able to afford it if you can't move to your own place yet. Not to mention the points made by OP of all the ways the animal could be endangered. Lets also consider how you would feel if your living space was invaded by something you feared. I know not all parents are kind and deserving of respect, but I think it's really cruel to the mom as well. And this is coming from someone who has tons of animals and did negotiate with my parents about keeping them when I lived with them. Having animals is a demanding lifestyle that noone should have forced upon them.

I only have 2 small corn snakes and have been moving around the past year and I had a heck of a time physically moving with them long-distance and also getting told no pets, do you have any suggestions on how to approach a no pet listing when they mostly mean no cats or dogs? And any suggestions on how to move snakes and pets in bioactive enclosures

I just made a crested/leopard gecko enclosure by dividing a 50 gallon tank. I used styrofoam, cardboard, and foil to separate the sides and to be able to regulate temperature and humidity on both sides independently.

I almost got the tank at 2:16 for my Anoles but then I realized with the backdrop and being only a 20 gallon I was better off with a 30 gallon tank. Still a pretty tank.

Alex quick question.. I wanted to know if my heater (floor vent heater) for my house will it affect my leopard gecko.? I have her on the opposite side of the room, and away from the window.. but she's in a room with the door closed 80% of the time. The heater goes off about 3x in an hour. So the room is always warm, but not too hot. I live in Colorado, but our winter this year hasn't been to bad. But I like my house warm.

Bredli is part of moralia genius like carpet pythons is a Australian snake from more central Australia and is said to be a good beginner snake with pretty simple care

I have an urgent question about my beardie and idk who else to ask. My beardie hasn't been eating last cpl days n has been just laying around.. Not to uncommon for her but she has black beard really dark and it goes from her chin to belly. Plus she also seems a bit twitchy which I haven't seen before. Could she have an infection or bacteria?

Description M. bredli is a heavily built species with adults approaching or exceeding 2 m (6 ft 5 in) in total length (including tail). Many captive specimens have been recorded at 3 m (9 ft 9 in) and slightly longer. The color pattern consists of a brown to reddish ground color with a highly variable pattern of pale intrusions. Hehe, almost had a heart attack when I saw my enclosure come up! Fair enough on the fake plant comment and clutter, for context bredli pythons are like carpets, quite big bodied when full grown so would trample live plants and don't care much for hiding places since they have no natural predators in central Australia when at full size 😂 am still hoping to add more fake plants though so my guy can have that option if he wants :) Thanks for giving it a gander! Edit just to say, his previous enclosure had live plants, but he killed them all by sitting on them XD

Hey my man, I have a dying ball Python juvenile who hasn’t eaten in a long time and she only eats live. Problem is I cannot get access to any lives in my area. Would sending her to emerald scales work? I’m not sure if you take love feeding snakes. Please tell me as soon as you can. You would possibly be saving her life.
