Ratio watches are a great microbrand! I don't have this particular model, but have another diver from them, with an astonishing 500 metre pressure resistance. It has a Miyota movement, and that is good too. The lume is better than I have seen on any other make of watch. These watches are brilliant.
Excellent job on the review! Great camera work on showcasing this beautiful watch. I already own the Heimdallr SKX homage in blue, but I will most definitely make the black dial Ratio my next purchase. I'll get the day/date version also because they are so affordable. That lume is outrageous!

I just ordered the Ratio Freediver quartz 36JL140 because I wanted a quartz beater watch, I have plenty of very good and expensive automatic dive watches but I am tempted to get this one too. I have SKX007 and SKX009 original. Very good watches, but the Ratio does it better from what I can see. My Seiko divers bezel does not line up correctly, they are hard to turn, the hardlex crystal scratches, etc. Ratio seems to be doing something very right. Happy to see these.

I'm getting one of these with green dial. I was already between spdr61 and spdr69 when I came across with this model. Same movement, sapphire, excellent lume, cyclops and its cheaper... Just make more sense to me.
Wow, that watch is a bargain. All the SKX007 needed to be. I had the SKX007, I modded it, but the movement was not great and I sold it for a small profit. I’ve missed it ever since. This will be my next watch. Great review.
Honestly I know the skx, and that one is way better in all departments, but in defense of the skx : it's old. The 7s26 is an old movement that you cannot even hack so I lost interest in the skx even when they where cheap. I love my RTB better...
I have an SKX009 and love that watch . This Ratio watch intrigues me though . Very tempting to buy . One question I have is , is this Ratio watch an ISO rated diver like the SKX is ?
Hi Joseph, I asked myself the same question ! The answer is no, they are not ! Super specs, beautiful, safe to dive with I guess, because of the certainty they actually show on there website concerning diving, but no, no ISO certification. Me, I swim, I don't dive so I don't care, but if you are a diver I understand your concern. But you own the skx009 for that so everything fine , good question.
Not impresed with this watch it looks nice but seiko movement is disappointment. I keep it in the winder for few months and it lates 6 seconds per day and if you wear it expect 10-12 seconds per day.
Hello Miro ! Thanks for sharing. So first, you need to "regulate the movement", the watch could have been treated badly during transport. And second, just an advice, nothing else : stop using a winder, it is not good unless you want to service your watches more often...
@@thehandsontime I have also Orient Sun& Moon which was also behind 4-5 seconds when I bought it but after few months now goes only 1 sec ahead per day or 0 somethimes and looks like better movement. Thank you for your advice, really appreciate it.
Hi there, you welcome, and for the answer, if you charge it just with a light it will fade and that's normal, but a well charged watch in the natural light of the day and the sun will last longer, and that's absolutely the case with that one no doubt about it. Went to a trip in Romania, wake up at 4h o'clock in the morning and I could read it in the dark with no problems at all, wonderful watch honestly ! Cheers 😉.

Salut, tu as donc une mini Turtle ! Superbe montre ! Mais la 013 est discontinue, et je n'en ai pas, donc a moins que tu me prête la tienne pour en faire une vidéo je ne vois pas comment. Mais la rtb est au top, tu aura ta 013 plus une skx "augmenté" au superbes finitions et avec beaucoup plus de charme qu'une skx007 ou 009. Mais c'est mon avis, beaucoup de puristes de la skx ne serait pas d'accord avec moi. Félicitations ! superbe montre dont je ne peux plus me passer personnellement. Et made in Singapore pas China.

In your experience with Creation Watches, was the final cost declared on the website or did you have to pay extra money for customs taxes or the like?
