We too have a rescue dog from Spain and I have to say that she’s an utter joy. “Rita” is very confident and loving but to make things easier for her I have been learning Spanish commands and have to say it’s certainly helped us. She’s a lovely dog and feel very lucky to have crossed her path. A lovely breed.
We have one for five years.unfortunately [for him] a rescue dog via a Dutch rescue scheme. He can't be left alone and the damage cannot be repaired. The spanish and their dogs ?? He's a great mate for the Manchester and cetainly smarter for not the same kind of money, although its more difficult to get a dog from such an organisation. Thank god ,not just money but yhe right home for their dogs. I'd take another one anyday over 'pedigree' dogs although theres always a risk. But who cares?
