Rattan LM750 Fat Tire Folding E-bike Review~A 13ah 48v 750w Ebike but what is this on the back? 

Had the LF-750 when they first came out. I had sold my Lectric. It was a powerful bike and had a great range for battery. But it was too heavy and too tall to feel safe. I’m 5’4”. It was great on steep hills. Wound up selling it and getting Lectric 2.0 and no regrets. Love my Lectric and feel safer for my short legs.

I've owned this bike almost a year now. I originally had an lectric ordered that was when they were backordered for so long. I canceled that and picked up the rattan 750 for 1050 bux which is a good deal considering the features.They delivered in a week. It appears they have changed the monitor as mine is a colored version with settings that do enable faster speeds. On pas 5 throttle only I get 26mph and I weigh 240 lbs. I usually ride in pas 3 and that gets me about 30 miles or more as I've never taken it all the way down. There is another individual on RU-vid that gets 60+ out of his but that's in pas1 or 2 with lots of peddling. Everything about mine has been excellent but a word of warning about customer service because it's spotty at best. This is a large heavy bike so I wouldn't recommend it for really short people. If it wasn't for bad customer service reports I would recommend this bike over the lectric mainly because of the large battery capacity but because of the reportedly bad customer service I'd recommend lectric. It could be the covid lock downs could have caused some of the customer service issues I don't know. Its definitely a nice bike for the price though. I also changed the original seat to a big ylg seat and that mage the ride much better on this bike. Thanks for the review!

I just purchased the Tesgo Hum Pro 1000 w with full suspension, after some changes in the advanced settings I got a top speed of 35.7 mph with pas 5, throttle only 32.8 mph , great bike for the money.

Purchased the LF 750 Rattan ebike. It's a very sturdy ebike that runs really well and goes up the steepest of hills very easily. No complaints overall. Highly recommend this ebike.

I recently got my Rattan bike. The battery mounting strip that came off his bike in the video came from the factory installed backwards. I noticed in the video that Jeremiah's was on backwards when he showed the loose screw. If you flip it around maintaining the top and bottom as is, but flipped horizontally, the battery fits much better. I did have to bend the strip some vertically when I did this. I suspect when the factory installed this strip backwards they had to bend it the opposite direction to make it fit. .... just saying.

thanks for your review. imo the controller choice is probably questionable, or at least it's programming. cruse should not be so easily enabled, lectric does it right imo. top speed locked out. :/ it seems to be otherwise a good bike, but needs some reprogramming or a different controller imo.

We bought two of the Rattan LM500d last April (2021) We love these bikes, I'm only 5'2" and it was on the edge of being too tall for me, however we cut a chunk out of the seat bar welded it back and now I can touch the ground and it's all good. I had the same problem with the battery rail, it wasn't installed quite right and the battery wasn't seated properly. I simply put the rail on properly and the battery seated perfectly after that. Ours did come with rear foot pegs and a different display. Our tire setting came on the 24" setting and the display says we are going 28mph when maxed out. At the 20" setting it says we are going 20mph, I think this is probably the accurate speed because our tires are 20". I haven't checked it against a gps, I guess I should do that lol.

Thorough review as always. About half of my riding is after dark. There's less traffic, and in the summer it's cooler. 😎

Bought one used local and idk what he did but it’s super fast, first gear 15ml and topped out at 40mph

I have had mine for 2 years now. Decent bike all around.

Also mine came with leather back seat and foot pegs to have second rider which was up to 75lbs. This looks like a cheaper version of their new models compared to original bikes

Did you ever figure out if you can disable the cruise control so it does not automatically engage?

Do you prefer this one or Lectric?

I have had mine up to 28 mph when you put the tire size on 28. I put the speed up on 50 and it changed nothing. Be wary of setting the throttle sensitivity to low it will take off when your not ready. I did move the tire size back to 20 because I wasn't sure if it would smoke the motor or not

Why they would call their step thru a ladies bike is beyond me. Many men as well as myself love the step thru version of ebikes more than the ones with the bar on the frame. Seems like a bad marketing move if you ask me.

Where would you find a replacement battery

I'm getting a 500 watt that goes 25 miles per hour and looks almost just like it but I'm not saying the name because I haven't gotten it yet.

i live in the uk where 750w motor and throttle are illegal on our main roads,how ever i went ahead and ordered one for the simple reason i only use cycle paths but now and then i need to use b roads to get to the cycle paths and ive never been stopped yet by the cops.i think there is so much crime these days thay tend to overlook these ebikes.

I know the question is stupid, since I already saw the weight of the bike in the specs, 66 pounds, but I wonder if someone could give me their opinion on how heavy does that feel when you lift it (maybe folded) like to get in a subway or a bus or just to go up or down a flight of stairs in the said subway, for example. I am a man, so I am a bit more stronger (hope that helps) or if it's so heavy that you can't barely lift it for more than 5 seconds. Thank you!!!!

Great review, thank you! Short question: what power source is needed to charge this bike? I am considering buying it to take it with me in my Class B RV. There I have 12 v outlets plus a small inverter. So if it needs a 110 v outlet for charging, do you know how powerful the inverter has to be?

Another question for you...on the controller there is an extra unused cable attached. I believe it has a 4-pin connector. Do you know what that is for? I think it may be some sort of Bluetooth module.

i gotta say there is so much fuss about speed, if you want fast get a sport bike, i want range, i want reliable, ive had led flashlights that just quit charging, reading comments is a huge help thanks people, right now im thinking buy a lectric 3.0 but mabe should get a rad bike, what do u do if a $1,000+ investment just quits? customer support left town

I prefer the battery in the tube. The G-Force T42 is a way better value than this. The more I watch this the more I’m amazed price buy it. The T42 goes like 30mph+ and comes with better parts.

Is there anyway to keep that battery safe from.getting wet just wondering and Also are these batteries is to replace thanks I was thinking maybe like a tarp or something over it if parked for commenting Unless maybe these are little waterproof not sure thanks 👍

I want this bike so it will it go up to 22mph only right. Another bike guy on here said you can't get up to 28mph on any electric bike without a 1500 motor. Changing tires to 22 will give false reading higher speeds. 20 inch tires will get you to 22mph

Last question (so far). My screen is slightly different. Don't know if it's newer or older. I believe my screen is model YL80C. When I turn on the screen all available screen positions light up. There is. 188% next to the battery meter which must mean there is a way to show that? Also the is a BT symbol. Any ideas?

New to ebikes. How do gear shifters worth in tandem with pedal assist? Is it just to adjust the gear friction while pedsling but speed is still dictated by the PAS/throttle ?

Mine just broke I have. No power when pulling my throttle Even on a full charge my aceleración is no more.

We have purchased the Rattan 750. We cant seem to get out of Pedal assist. The throttle does not engage. You said it feels like it shuts the motor off and i agree. Please help.

i have an old ezgo golf cart, it has mechanical speed control, not the most effient system for sure but i can fix anything on it, these bike are like cars today, if it fails just stand there and feel stupid, so watching videos and trying to choose a bike? somebody save me😳

Interesting it's a 750watt motor but not going past 22mph and not faster than the Lectric 500watt. I like the display. Easier to see and big. Great video!! What app did you use to get the grade of the dirt hill?

yea and one more thing, my right leg is a power house, i can push a car uphill with it, thats because i lost my left leg 46yrs ago and my good leg had to take up the slack, so ill be rideing a step thru to catch myself if i fall to the left, yes thats how much i love cycling let a deputy stop me and want to check the class bike im rideing, like they have nothing better to do
