That is friggen awesome !! I came across a den of Northern Pacific Rattlesnakes up in the Sierra Nevada Mountains near Kyburz, CA. I'll never forget the sound of dozens of them rattling at the same time!!😬
I'm so glad to see this den doing well. I would love to visit it sometime, if I ever get to go herping in the Billings area. I hope you're not revealing the den's location to just anyone.
Amazing footage Michael! What an incredible den, looks like they are eating healthy. I love rattlesnakes but I would be nervous about them coming up from behind. It seems like they are everywhere! Thanks for not hurting them. Would love to check this out in person if I ever go to Montana

he didn't make himself a threat.cause like any other wild animal snakes won't hurt you if you don't hurt them. venomous snakes really don't want to bite cause venom is very costly to make.so to save venom they wild be very loud and if they do strike it's often a dry bite(a bite where they don't inject venom).
