These are two really fine musicians, obviously. Too bad I'm missing out on some of the sounds of their guitars cuz of the annoying humming and mock horn sounds he keeps making with his mouth.
I think his 'mock horn' is really beautiful. To me, Raul Midon is more than just a guitar player. He hums along in unison to change the tone of his lines, and adds the lip buzzing to add harmonies that he feels flesh out his ideas. I think if you listen to it more, you'll find that he takes nothing away by adding either thing.
