My 2024 Tucson Hybrid had wireless car play. Must have been a software update as I picked up mine 2 days ago. I've owned a 2020 RAV 4 gas model, and so far I'm still in the honeymoon period, so time will tell. I have to say that overall this Hyundai is nicer than the RAV 4 to me.
As a senior, and a Tucson hybrid owner, I would buy another Tucson any day over the Toyota. Better styling, more tech, better warranty, free 5 years roadside assistance, 10 yr battery and hybrid, warranty, and the Hybrid is mated to a reliable 6 speed auto transmission but the Toyota hybrid has a CVT. PLUS the Hyundai has a huge panoramic sunroof.
I would recommend the RAV4, simply because it’s less flashy and boring. Seniors don’t typically want vehicles that are on the cutting edge of technology that appear complicated and overwhelming. However, the Tucson offers a much quieter and comfortable ride that anyone would prefer. Still, the Tucson design has a much more younger person vibe. So, I’m afraid I would have to recommend the RAV4 to Seniors.
I wouldn't say we forgot to mention resale value, it's just that the video is designed to quickly hit the broad points of each vehicle and resale value just isn't one of the details we choose to cover. As far as Toyota being unbeatable in resale value, it's hard to argue with that as it's undeniable that Toyota's hold their value extremely well.
If I buy a car to sell it, that shows you didn't want the car in the first place. You are prioritizing getting rid of the vehicle over owning the vehicle, but to be fair, getting rid of the Rav4 would probably be my priority after Toyota just released a "do not drive, steering column may explode and send shrapnel into your face" recall for over a million Rav4s.
I don’t know why people always mention resale value when comparing the two. You should acquire the vehicle that makes you happy. Once it’s out of your life, who cares if you walk away with a bit extra in your pocket after spending years in a vehicle that wasn’t your preference. Vehicles are not investments.

I guess all the reviewers and non-biased companies that review cars are all wrong about putting the Tucson in the Top-3 SUV category in almost every single review out there, and many top it over the Rav4... guess they're all not as smart as you, huh boy?
Come back to this comparison in 5 yrs. Toyota still running with no issues and the hundai has a permenent home in the hundai repair shop , that is if it hasnt burned up 8n an electricsl fire, so hundai owners dont park them 8n your garage

@@wolfshanze5980 you have your recsll mixed . 2003 and 2004 corollas and matrix have faulty airbags that could explode. 7900 of them have not been replaced in canadayet . 20 yr old xar still ompn the road . The other is owners replacing batterys with a smaller sized battery and if you dont bolt them tight enough they could loosen and short possibly causing fire but putting in proper replacement battery is the key.
2019 RAV4 had 8 recalls while the 2019 Tucson had one. I bet all of those Toyota owners felt awesome spending all that time at the shop due to poor quality standards straight out of the gate.
Why buy a ridiculous vehicle the size of a bus when all you need is a small car with a small motor and very few pointless gadgets to break down? I'd love to see the final death of these absurd vehicles, oversized, overcomplicated and utterly pointless. Get a Fiat Panda, does more than 60 MPG and has plenty of room, especially for the older driver.
Your comment reminds me of opinions about SUVs expressed in videos over at the Not Just Bikes channel ( a channel that I happen to really like). Although I don't agree with you (or Not Just Bikes) about SUVs, I do understand your point of view.
