I would love to see a new space game. I mean 40k is dumpster fire rules so wouldn’t be hard to have better rules. Models look good too and looking forward to trying it out
iam gonna be honest, shipping cost is the only reason iam not buying, i never have and never will paying for shipping especially for that price. maybe its a german thing that we dont have shipping cost when reaching 50€ or 100€ for orders online
Hey I get it. The shipping prices are not fun. Everything is coming from china and the boxes are rather large. All I can say is that we don’t make any money off of shipping. What we’re charging is what it costs us.
@@miniwargaming i didnt wanted to implay that u make extra money from shipping costs, its simply an extra cost that iam not willing to pay, but luckily i saw RS minis listed in my online retainers store, can u tell me if that is a one of or a real thing and when yes how long do i have to expect to wait until they are available. the release dates on that site are not reliable
@@EyeXombie so let’s support one of the worst non delivering companies ever. You get your game so that’s great. Past gamers waiting years for theirs do not matter?
Is it that the funding reached the goal and still didn't go ahead? Or did it not reach the goal? As if it's the latter isn't that the risk of providing money to these? I think it's clear here Ravaged Star and Mini War Gaming is doing great with progression
HEY GUYS!! Pay no attention to the fact that I’m a forty five year old male using “Just For Men” hair and beard colouring to make me appear more appealing to the targeted age group. I’m here to amp up this new blatant “Warhammer” series of take your money schemes. We spent hundreds of dollars paying someone with a 3D printer and a few schematics to produce a “limited” selection of what essentially equates to those free, plastic, army men you may remember from when you were a child. All we need is MORE MONEY to actually sit down and come up with the rules to this charade. You want lore? A back story to these epic battles? No worries. We only need a few more million of dollars from eager, lonely, neck beards to finally sit down and “take as inspiration” from other games that came before us. Am I speaking too fast? No worries. The algorithm (and my son) tell me that attention spans are at an all time low. Don’t worry, I’m cool or whatever the smartphones tell me is the same. I’m just like you!!
I'd like to thank y'all for getting this out. It's the first thing I pledged to that's actually going to be delivered. If I had a nickel for every kickstarter I backed that failed and killed the company, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.
Backed the first campaign. Love the minis. Backed the second campaign for more Veil Touched. Recently added the all Immari option and rules after watching several playtest videos. Just paid the shipping for Wave 1. I am so stoked. I am really hoping the second campaign doesn't see the same delays the first campaign had.
So freaking pumped for this!! I have all the original Veil Touched minis from the first campaign and absolutely love them. This campaign has been even better. Excited for the new armies and rules and all of it!
@@miniwargaming I do! I’ve tagged you in a few of them. I have the camo VTAT and green Valkyrs. Still lots more to paint since I did Asalia so more will be added. It’s dustinwebb1982
@miniwargaming There is a question some are asking. This does not change my stance on the company and IP. But there is some concern about the inclusion of Lazy Squire Games. Are they, Lazy Squire Games, going forward going to be a part of this game? I know that game design is all Matt and community driven, and we love it. But others are hesitant to join. Can you help?
@@clonetf141 I'm not sure myself. As Veil Touched was my first interaction with them. I also backed the Revenant's Run campaign because it has the same art as Ravaged Star. There are some in the gamefound board asking about further affiliation due to a couple failed kickstarters LSG had. I know that MWG had a similar issue with a previously failed endeavor, but watching them for 13 years grow as a company, I know the hardships of getting funding for projects and paychecks.
Hi Daniel, Dave here, direct answer to your direct question: yes. Ravaged Star is a project now 3 years in the making. Lazy Squire Games has been involved since the beginning working with I Demo Games and their team of concept artists and sculptors to provide assets for our IP. Collectively, they’re fully integrated in the project. Some relevant facts, Ravaged Star campaign 1: for armies of the Veil-Touched has been fulfilled. A few thousand backers received their orders and are enjoying the minis. Campaign number 2: Ravaged Star the tabletop miniature Wargame is well under way and we’ve built a great relationship with Eastar to manufacture the miniatures. This project and overall concept is moving forward and we stand by our decision to make that happen. If there are any concerns with other parties involved, be it Lazy Squire Games or otherwise, that’s beyond what MiniWarGaming is involved in and is not a part of Ravaged Star nor our Channel. My personal take? I’ve had to personally reconcile this. Since we’re front facing, especially myself being the front runner for this overall project, I had to make a decision taking ALL points into consideration. Ultimately, because Ravaged Star means soooo much to me, from a community standpoint and on a more personal level (my kids are excited for it and through that enthusiasm it got me painting minis again) THAT’S the intangible value of Ravaged Star. To me it represents hope. And as cheesy as that may sound, I deeply believe it’s the good and the hope that we all bring to this project that’ll outshine any potential reason to bring it down. I’m serious when I say JUST MOVE!!!! So we move forward.
@miniwargaming Thanks Dave! You are a super inspiration for me. I have an all in from the first campaign as well and have problems with anything so far except the one model I stepped on and broke the spear! It's my fault totally. I know sometimes bad things happen to companies and projects fall through. It's why I am here to support Ravaged Star and all of its awesomeness! Don't stop moving!!
I play many tabletop games like Warhammer 40k/Sigmar and DnD but from the bottom of my heart this is the BEST line of minatures i have ever laid my eyes upon (can i pls have a shoutout i your next video) keep up the good content
It's hard to say 100% until the game is done. The Gorkog warpacks are about the size of an army, while the Immari ones are pretty close. However, points can change as we do balance updates.
