One of the most sense making story is that sage vedavati who has taken into sanyas while she was Virgin.... she went into deep meditation to increase her knowledge and power At that time Raavan had had just met with lord Shiv and was coming back after being humbled by his lord..... he saw the lady in meditation who looked very divine and touched her wanting to have her.....(this is metaphorical, however to say it practically he mostly molested or abused her) as soon as he did that she woke up and cursed that she will come back to ruin all his efforts too.... and she turned into ashes......Raavan being a Brahman collected the ashes to submerge it into the seas.... but he kinda forgot in between all the other shenanigans happening around him during his travel..... he takes the ashes with him to lanka and his wife mandodari holds the container.... after few months of ignoring it they hear the sounds of a child from the container .... An astrologer comes by to check on this and also with a news that there is a prophecy that the new baby in the palace is going to be the end of the kingdom.... as soon as raavan hears that he tells his servants to cross the sea and bury the child alive as soon as the reach the land..... they do so and after few of months of earth bearing and raring the child King janak found her .... he was doing a ritual to increase the fertility of his kingdom and wife and Sita was like a boon who brought more four girls to the house In one sense she is ravans daughter since his deed led to her formation and mandodari and the earth did kinda shelter her for some time Ha ha make jokes. But I'm being serious here. It's important to understand that to some people this is history, this is Culture but this is also a lot of Literature. It's filled with beauty, metaphors and hidden meanings. I said it made sense cause that's how I see it. Because there are so many different texts it depends on us what we choose to think or believe. You don't wanna believe this ok fine no problem. Aap Ke liye koi aur story aapka Satya hoga.
Very true ....even vedavati cursed him too before burning in to ashes that one day Lanka will also burn like her infront of ravan bcoz of sita and also cursed him he could not touch her If he touch her his head is going to turn in to pieces ....

The story of Ravana being Sita's father is a controversial one, and there is no consensus on whether or not it is true. In some versions of the Ramayana, including the Sanghadasa's Jaina version and the Adbhuta Ramayana, Sita is said to be the daughter of Ravana and his wife Mandodari. However, in the most popular version of the story, the Valmiki Ramayana, Sita is said to have been born from the earth itself. There are a few reasons why some people believe that Ravana was Sita's father. First, Ravana was a very powerful and virile man, and he was capable of fathering children with other women. Second, the story of Sita's birth in the Sanghadasa's Jaina version is very similar to the story of Ravana's daughter in the Mahabharata. Third, there is a prophecy in the Ramayana that says that Ravana will be killed by his own daughter. However, there are also a few reasons why people believe that Ravana was not Sita's father. First, the Valmiki Ramayana is the most popular version of the story, and it does not mention that Ravana is Sita's father. Second, the story of Sita's birth in the Sanghadasa's Jaina version is not considered to be canon by most Hindus. Third, the prophecy in the Ramayana could be interpreted in a different way. Ultimately, whether or not Ravana was Sita's father is a matter of personal belief. There is no definitive answer, and both sides of the argument have valid points.

Vālmiki, the Adi Kavi wrote Rāmāyaṇa around 5600-5550 BCE. Vālmiki Rāmāyaṇa had inspired many scholars to write Drishya (Natya) and Shrāvya Kāvyas in Laukika Sanskrit. Public performances of Rāmāyaṇa and Purāṇas became the main source of the entertainment of society. The demand for innovations in performances led to the evolution of various Ramayanas like Adbhuta Ramayana, Ananda Ramayana etc. During the post-Ramayana era, the performanceof Adbhuta rasa became immensely popular which led to mythologisation of historical legends of Ramayana and Puranas like Shukacharya was depicted as parrot-faced, Gajānana as elephantfaced, Narasimha as lion-faced, Vamana as midget, Kapi as monkey, Rishi or King Mastya as fish, Varaha as boar, Riksha as bear, Naga as serpent, Garuda as eagle etc. Interestingly, the public performances of Sanskrit kavyas and natakas brought a paradigm shift in the spoken languages of Indian society.

@@kartiksinhjadeja9718 well there are 4 navratris in a year....two gupt navratris and 2 main navratris as we know... before ramnavmi and before dusshera. All of them scientifically mark change of seasons. So fasting during Navratri and maintaining a healthy lifestyle is beneficial for health. Also spiritually connects us to the divine energy of the supreme feminine param prakriti adishakti maa. Also in the regard of my comment, since maa Durga is the giver of strength and victory shree Ram decides to worship her before Lanka yudha. The last day he doesn't find a lotus to offer the goddess because she herself hid it to test his devotion. He remembers that ma kaushalya calls him Rajiv lochan (lotus eyed) so he picks an arrow and is about to pluck his own eyeball ( equal to a lotus) when maa Durga stops him and blesses him success. It's popularly said that Vishnu is just durga in masculine form and vice versa. If you read Bhagvat Gita and devi bhagvat (devi geeta) you'll find many similarities. Both have taken the oath of yada yada hi dharmasya. Also durga chalisa mentions adishakti to incarnate as Narsimha to save bhakta prahlad Maharaj. That story of Yama not able to come to Ayodhya is very nicely depicted in Devdutt Patnayak's book named Sita... I always get fascinated by the story, it so nicely imagines concept of multiverse.
@@sakshigupta21484 I knew some body will point out how bad Devdutt is... Like setting up the premise of the book "Sita" when Bajrangbali goes to Patal lok to find Nagas there and went's on the narrate the story of his aradhaya Sri Ram to them only to find out that this is happening again and again since ages, it rekindles the imagination of reader as me who can imagine at some dimension of time space even an there's a past and future me who is existing... The past me must be happy living with his parents and siblings , going to school playing with friends and so on. You know I slept well the night I completed the book. Even Prabhu Ram told Laxman ji to go and take lessons from Ravan when he was in his final moment. Again just to reaffirm my notion that one should not discredit the good work done by someone.
Devdutt is an asshole. He is funded by western anti hindu writers. If you need to know about Sanatan Dharma, read original scriptures not his books. And Ramayan and Mahabharat aren't stories there are our history.
Ramayan has occurred multiple times in different time lines , it could be that these books were written according to that particular timeline.. ramayan as we know now occurred n the characters in it remains the same but may be with a different twist in every timeline..

Ravan exist in human itself, 10 types of emotions, when people will understand this truth, wakeup, try to understand, Sita is mother nature ,all the creatures on earth are children....
King Janaka of Mithila was plowing a field as part of a ritual to please the gods and seek blessings for a child. As he plowed the field, a golden casket emerged from the earth. Inside the casket was a beautiful baby girl. King Janaka and his wife, Queen Sunayana, were overjoyed and considered the baby girl a divine blessing. King Janaka and Queen Sunayana adopted the baby girl and named her Sita. She grew up as their own daughter, and she was known for her exceptional beauty, intelligence, and virtues. Sita later became the central character in the Ramayana, as she was married to Lord Rama, the seventh avatar of Lord Vishnu. The Ramayana narrates the story of Lord Rama's quest to rescue Sita after she was kidnapped by the demon king Ravana. The epic is revered as a timeless tale of love, devotion, righteousness, and the triumph of good over evil.
