Rave Master; Haru annihilates Orcaion Seis 

the people who say Hiro Mashima copied rave master, he made rave master and fairy tail so of course there's going to be similarities in them when there made by the same person

I wish they would restart this. Rave Master was/is epic.

@xKagatox The missing ones are Gravity Core, which obviously has weight manipulation to massivley increase the pure force of his attacks, but being stupidly unweildy, and Million Suns, a blade composed of pure light that can blind his foe's and banish dark powers. After that is Sacrifar, a blade that explosivley increases Rave's power, but develops a huge bloodlust in the weilder since it seals all emotions except rage and hate, a sword form not made for Haru, and thus one he can't use right.

I love how Fairy Tail put some Rave Master stuff in it. I always loved Rave Master and to see stuff from in in Fairy Tail, like Plue and Oracion Seis made me go full on otaku

You obviously have not read or seen rave master, so please don't give any biased opinions. Anyone who has read both of them will agree that rave is better than fairy tail in every way except the animation

The anime ended because most companies on those days wanted 51-52 chapters series because there was like a huge boom on new anime and it was hard to bet for "unknown" mangakas. Ofc now that fairy tail is popular I bet they will go on with Rave, unlike the first anime of Full Metal Alchemist (that they had to reedit the anime again for obvious reasons) Rave is identical as the manga is (less bloddy i would say) and if they go on with it, it will be a great success indeed

@seanbro33 the only powers that i remember from the anime are Explosion (name says it all) Silfarion (speed boost) Runesaver (magic sword that cuts the untouchable like fire or magic) Blue Crimson (sword of fire and a sword of ice) and Melforce (the wind blade) i didnt read the manga but i know there are 3 or 4 others.. like Gravity Core.

@SyaoranXSakuraTC yes but they appeared in Rave Master first. Don't forget that Rave master and Fairy Tail are both works of Hiro Mashima.

@xKagatox Finally, the final form which Musica himself reforged into the blade using his own silver claimer powers, nearly dying in the process, when it was revealed that Haru could not weild the 10th form, Star-Rave due to it being forged purely for Shiba's use. The newest form took over the role of Eisenmeteor, it's base form, and was named Ravelt, the final and Haru's own 10th form of the blade.

Now behold Fairy Tail fans! Most of you are oblivious to Fairy Tail's predecessor, tis Haru Glory for thee! Master swordsman and Rave Master!

Wow the story in the anime ends at the 12-13 vol. of the manga, but indeed it goes on untill the 35!!! So you could say this was just the beggining of the trip, what it happens after Haru meets Lucia is even better than what happened on the anime :) and I swear it has one of the biggests endings I ever read :D. Personally I like more Rave than Fairy Tail^^

Oh but mashima says, he likes fairy tail more than rave master. The creator owns all.

Dont get me wrong, fairy tail is awesome... but if this were to be remade such as fma brotherhood was completing the plot line, it would definitely be in the top of the charts. PLEASE FOR THE SAKE OF US HARDCORE RAVE FANS REMAKE THE SERIES AND DO IT JUSTICE!!!!!

Wrong! Haru went mental after Ellie broke her arm to save Griff and got beat up by the ice dude. Man..Haru just lives up to his rep. Everytime I watch this scene, I'll always get these goosebumps...which Fairy Tail mostly fails to deliver that. But i still love fairy tail though XD!

I guess your right but i simply like Fairy Tail more. I get that it kinda uses some idea of Rave (like i thought Natsu and Lucy was in the Rave Manga (Last chapter) -.-"). But then every battle he gets stronger cos he is fighting stronger opponents, that probally why Natsu is getting stronger every time. + When Erza was fighting her edo self, Knightwalker(for those who don't know Knightwalker is Edo Erza (: ) she was using Haru's weapon ._."

Seriously... people actually think Rave Master copied Fairy Tail? No no a thousand times no! Rave Master was first and alot of stuff from it were pretty much ripped directly from the plot and put into Fairy Tail. Most notably the character archetypes. As certain characters are obviously carbon copies such as Natsu and Haru, Gray and Musica and Lucy and Elie.

@kamikatze01 Well,to be fair,this anime barely followed it's manga correctly and it was also cancelled before it could even get 1/3 of the story done.Yet,Fairy Tail get's to go on as long as it pleases.Though,Fairy Tail and Rave Master both rock.

rave and fairy tail are from the same autor. maybe mashima use the idea of haru's sword to create erza's sword. it's like gray's necklasse= the necklesse of gray is the rave that haru uses to change his sword

@GildartsClive Well, I guess you are right, because Fairy Tail is in a way other league than this anime. Its not over yet and by far one of the best animes in our time. I dont think that Rave master was made after it

It's a shame they haven't remade this, seriousley the manga's finished so they wouldn't need any filler and there are tons of anime's with terrible storylines that would be way less popular than this. It wouldn't even interfere with FT as Mashima has already done everything necessary to have this adapted.

Rave master manga was obviously better and I love the similarities that hiro transferred to fairytail Oracion seis, plue, Lucy is Ellie, gray is musica, Julia is erza, jellal is seig heart, etherion, and more I'm sure :)

after watching Fairy Tail up to........the part where Lucy,Natsu,Wendy get captures by that sticky thing that won't allow u to use magic, I begin watching Rave master after finishing rave master, I started watching Fairy Tail again and when I see Knighwalker using the 10 commandents (how eva u spell it T.T) I go: Did Erza.K steal Haru weapon??

of course I know that but hes ripping off his own work. I mean Erza Knightwalker has a weapon with the exact same powers as the Rave Sword... its a spear instead.

Rave master is the older anime/manga, made by the same author of Fairy Tail.. it only makes sense that he stopped this anime/manga for FT. I watched fairy tail first, so obviously i can't see this being better in my eyes.. because the technology wasnt as gd as it is now, than it was back then.. so obviously animation and what not are better..on the anime side. I haven't read rave master yet, but i can tell by comments that the plot and story are similiar. Im guessing, he grew tired of rave and decided to go on with Fairy tail.. IMO the better anime of the 2, haven't read the manga though. If i started with rave master back then, i probably would think it is better than FT, but if you look at the 2 animes from a neutral perspective, they would probably go with FT.. The anime is better.

Oh and rob, Obviously you got some problems, I watch more than fairy tail, I'm just proving a point Mashima says he likes fairy tail more than rave, myself I like rave too, but fairy tail, I like better. Can't beat the creators opinion...

@zadamainia08 Why would you say that? Fairy Tail is entertaining but theres no way its better than Rave.(Im talking about the manga, not the anime cuz I know Rave Master anime is old). Fairy Tail is a rip off of Rave and I simply don't like the fact that Natsu always is the strongest without any training... Ohhh Ill eat some etherion to pwn Jelal... WTF is this anime????????????????????????????? plue is in it, like in Fairy Tail and the enemys here are called Orcaion Seis . In Fairy Tail an evil dark guild is called Oracion Seis.... is this a copy of Fairy Tail or just the same producer?

rave master was quite a disappointment for me....though i only read the manga and didn´t watch the anime....and now i can´t go on and watch/read fariy tail anymore cause there are so many cheap rip offs......

who cares which copied which... its not like they r the same exact thing. Just a few similarities here and there. I love both series they r both good and unique in their own way and if there is an idiot bashing on one series because it "copied" another, then that person is a total fool and go find another hobby or whatever. Actually I kinda hate rave master for ending so dam early wen its so dam good T_T
