Other chapters always made a joke about Blood Ravens don't have any primarsh. The BR will eventually "claim" Vulkan as their primarch when all Salamanders' relics got "borrowed" into their chapter treasury ;)

Blood ravens have the same primarch as the blood angels. The hint is in the name. I remember when that was common knowledge

AFAIK, it was never certain who their primarch was, or from which chapter they spawned. There's even a "hint" (it's as subtle as a brick) to the face) that they are connected to the Thousand Sons (which would imply Magnus was their primarch, not Sanguinius). Ultimately they were made by Relic, but GW made them canon and don't seem to care much about our relic appropriating bois.

@@adepressedcatwithabadnicot246 of what we know of. I remember back in 2007 when GW said they were related to the blood angels, or rather strongly hinted that. They are not related to the thousand sons wich has been confirmed by a black library author. So there are 3 possible answers. 1. Blood angels. 2. Emperial fist. 3. Mixed gene seeds. Some even ( wrongfully I might add) that blood ravens are related to the sons of horus or the night lords. Idk how even people can even begin to think of such nonsense
