When both her and Beyonce were younger, they kind of favoured to me- like sisters or cousins. I noticed it in some of those preteen shots of Raven, she looked like Beyonce in the early Destiny's Child days.
Raven will always be a legend. That's So Raven was the first show I saw her in and just loved it. That's So Raven is still a show that I watch to this day. The Cheetah Girls is something that all of us Disney fans still love!! The movies were always the best!! The music of these films were just incredible. It would be so fun to see where The Cheetah Girls would be at right now and what they did with their lives.
Right Raven has not changed and she’s not blueface and a clone not the real Raven like Orlando brown says she still has that personality and funny side to her that we have always seen
I never realized the comparison to That's So Raven to I Love Lucy but it's so true. That's So Raven is and will continue to age well as one of the most legendary sitcoms of our generation. We love you Raven ♥
Grew up watching The Cheetah Girls 1-3, That's So Raven, Zenon 21 Century Girl, College Road Trips, Raven's Home, TPD 2. Even her guest appearance on Disney Channel shows/movie. Her solo music especially Disney Channel era. Love her, singing/music/ acting. Adrienne and Raven are my favorite Cheetah Girls.
What I loved about raven as a character in that’s so raven, was that she was a well rounded person who wasn’t just her surface level appearances. At the time raven was considered “fat” by society’s standards, but it wasn’t her main storyline. She had maybe 1 episode focusing on her weight. She got the hot guy, she had good friends, and was a great personality. She was the only main character as a plus size AND/OR black woman in the mid 2000s children’s show that I know of that didn’t reinforce stereotypes and even educated people on topics like racism, without it being too in your face.
The Raven Symone album was ROBBED of its potential! Who the F put “Double Dutch Bus” as the 1st single and thought, “yea…let’s stop right there. A Six Flags tour will sell the rest.” 😤😤😤😭😭😭😭😭
@@notyouraveragebear9326 worst single choice possible! There are so many gems on that delightful R&B album. The album debuted at #159 on Billboard 200 with 4,400 copies sold
I grew up watching Raven-Symone on that Raven and the Cosby show. I think she’s amazing and a talented woman. I can’t wait to see what else she does if anything.
@mandys1038 yea but its still a legendary show i mean he was funny people cant dehy that. I think its because she doesn't remember doing it. Its weird shes only close to malcolm jamal warner when she mostly was around lisa bonet
Awww took me all the down memory lane. I’ve been watching her on television since the very beginning. Wow what a journey and yes Raven we’re getting old 😂
Raven was my whole childhood. I watched her with grandpa on the Cosby show every night, dr. Dolittle, and then That’s So Raven!!! I grew up watching her and being inspired by her 😍 icon!!!
Raven you are a LEGEND and Deserve to be named with all those who are. Girl you absolutely MADE my TV childhood and till this day I will watch ANYTHING with you old and new. 💐💜
I love Raven! I am 31 and still watch That's So Raven. I grew up watching I Love Lucy with my grandma and loved Raven's humor and character. I don't care about any celebrities but I had to watch this because she actually seems like the coolest person. She has helped me find comfort in the darkest moments of my life. I recently lost my mom and her shows have made me able to smile and laugh again when it seems impossible. She needs to know how important she is and how much her presence changed the lives for the better of so many people!
I wanted to be raven so bad. I was out here asking my mom to buy mi pointy toe heels. I saw myself in her, her race, her body, her braids, her fashion, her singing, her humor. Yep, she was my big virtual sister. Amazing
Raven's personal journey and growth just makes me admire, respect, and love her all the more. I loved her and what she represented in her shows but I love her even more now as a woman who went through a lot and made it out on the otherside. found love inside and outside and happiness and strength
I remember the ET birthdays! I would watch only when they announced Raven's birthday (December) and the Olsen Twins birthday (June) Raven has definitely worked hard through out her whole life. She worked just as hard as the Olsen Twins and deserves as much respect. She's an icon and someone that will be remembered for a long time♥️👸🏽
I don’t think she had the best experience, as far as production and such. I seen where she was referring to it on The Lawrence Brothers podcast, slightly hinted that she was happy when it ended. But yes that’s my show too, glad it’s on streaming.
@@marcosmith4764 I remembered that they confused with how her character was supposed to look, originally she was supposed to be plus size but Raven had lost weight so they changed it. But it was good to see her in an Adult comedy for a change
I loved seeing the next phase of Raven in a more teen/adult role but she seemed unhappy with it. And I don’t know if her getting that skinny was a choice or pressure.
🥹🥺😭 Raven was EVERYTHING to me growing up! The only thing that hurts was hearing her thank the “universe”, if she only knew that God Almighty blessed her with the talent she has, I pray the Lord heals Raven from past trauma and pain so she can know Him fully and truly ❤
I'm old enough to remember her from The Cosby Show. Seeing her grow up on the Disney Channel, and then following her career afterward, has been such a treat.
raven will always be an icon , I grew up watching thats so raven . I was a kid (7-8 yrs old) and loved every episode . occasionally I will look up old episodes on RU-vid and still laugh , it was just so damned funny .I still listen to the cheetah girls and other disney bops now and then because they were so good. Raven and many others are part of my childhood and I'm glad they got the chance to act and loved it. I know disney is appealing to a newer generation but I feel like they should bring back that comedy like they had then in the early 2000s, im 23 now and still think about thats so raven and Hannah Montana , as well as other shows because they were again just so damned funny.
I disagree with Raven on a lot of things, but there’s no doubt in my mind that she’s definitely a trailblazer! I think she’ll get her just due in due time. I can see her being honored at the Kennedy Center in her future when she’s much much older. I prophesied that for her. 🙏🏾
I dont think raven realizes shes accomplished alot also she has met alot of legends most people in their lifetime wont ever meet. Mahammid ali, michael jackson, whitney houston, etc..
It really hurts knowing that I grew up watching her while she was a teen to an adult. Man I miss being a kid. But I hated what she went through to be here today. Thank you Rae for being that Top Disney Role Model that you always were.
2003 was beginning of freshman year of HS for me. If I was having a rough day that show would always make me laugh. Thanks Raven ❤❤ 90s Disney and early 2000s Disney was the best! I’m happy I was able to grow up with it.
(Watching from Africa.) We grew up watching you Raven, if you get this message Sending lots of love, thank you for making our childhood. Watching from ( Africa Zambia.)
Raven is an icon. Her career is longer than most people who’s older than her. She’s been a household name since the age of 3, THREE. Her work with Disney Channel truly deserves recognition and praise! She’s a phenomenal actress and singer (people underestimated her as a singer but her albums all ATE down!) and I just pray nothing but great things for her! Love you always Raven!
She proof you can go through ups and downs, and still end up on point. She one of the few stars that had a rebellious moment as a young star and came back an adult with wisdom and humbleness.
I’m 43, and like many others, Raven holds a big place in my childhood and teenage years. I grew up watching her on The Cosby Show, Hangin’ With Mr. Cooper, and many other shows. ❤
Raven was always a role model for me growing up. I literally saw a concert of hers at six flags of all places and the third cheetah girls had just came out and the Make-A-Wish foundation had kids come on stage and ask her questions and one of them was about why she wasn’t in the third movie which gagged me, because I was dying to know what was the tea, and even then she was still cordial and friendly regarding her absence in the third movie. The cheetah girls two will still always be my favorite. I need to go to Barcelona.
Okay I’ll be the first to say that I watched Olivia enter the Cosby house withe her dad Martin and step mom Denise! Loved being part of the TV era 1980s
When you say ROLE MODEL… this is who I think about … Raven Symone really set the tone for girls like me growing up and I love her so much for it!!!😭😭💯🥹
Not only is Raven an icon in her own right but she literally grew up with so many legends and was even babysat by Muhammad Ali and Samuel E. Wright. Whitney Houston, Diana Ross and sooooo many others have held her, loved on her and poured into her as a child. Raven probably doesn’t even remember hanging with the Jackson family, being hand picked by Michael to go on school tours in 1994, because he remembered her from presenting the 1993 Entertainer of the Year at the NAACP Image Awards. She’s just an all around icon and I’ll never stop giving her, her flowers ❤
I love Raven Symone so much!! She is my childhood!! If I am ever blessed enough to meet her it will be a full circle moment and I will see the physical version of true inspiration of my entire life. I still watch her to this day, her journey and all & I appreciate her for being real and I appreciate her for letting us be apart of her journey! Thank you
Girl what?? Raven you are that GIRLLLL ! An Icon for so many of us girls who grew up in that era ❤ still is doing your biggest one as a Black Queen in Entertainment
