X2 is the original 4th dimension coaster. Designed by Alan Schilke and built by Arrow Dynamics, this massive coaster features seats that can invert. And this ride kicks things off with a 200+ foot, near vertical plunge. And the flips on this ride are fantastic.

RIP Arrow. They did some genuinely amazing work (albeit still experimental and prone to all problems of prototypes.) They sure as heck ended on a high note as this is still one of the craziest coasters on earth and the very idea of a Raven turn is just psycho. At least we still have Schilke going strong.

The last time I visited I was watching it test in the morning and I thought it was so cool watching it just barely clear the turnaround over the station
