Kay Radley damn that was a really hard lel for me (like lol but more of a slight emphasis). If it werent for my 9th grade english teacher, that quoth would be lost on me.

Ghastly grim and ancient Raven wandering from the Nightly shore, tell me what thy lordly name is on the Night’s Plutonian shore! Quoth the Raven, _“Nevermore. Waka waka waka waka.”_
Doug Stakk Then this ebony bird beguiling my sad fancy into smiling, By the grave and stern decorum of the countenance it wore, “Though thy crest be shorn and shaven, thou,” I said, “art sure no craven, Ghastly grim and ancient Raven wandering from the Nightly shore- Tell me what thy lordly name is on the Night’s Plutonian shore!” Quoth the Raven “Waka waka waka.” -I'm sorry XD.-
Raised a Raven this summer. Chose to stay around and is never caged. Hunts and forages, but definitely likes the feeding times as well. Learning to say hello. Barks like my dogs and fools them into thinking a stray is around. Mastered the enrichment puzzles in a day. Blessed to have him in our lives. EDIT: He turned out to be a she. Started talking saying Dont bite the dogs. But has quit . I believe it is because of two factors. My DOGO ARGENTINO passed away, they were best friends. (RIP MY BEST GIRL GOLDIE). Then I brought a new dog into the house. A malinois that hasn't been easy on her. Slowly getting better. Gets along with all the other dogs and cat too. I have a RU-vid channel and posted some of our interactions if interested.
Some birds link the word with its meaning. Look for some parrots videos. Like using Alexa or going to make a poop in the toilet after an owner's command.
*"Leave my loneliness unbroken! Quit the bust above my door!* *Take thy beak from out my heart, and take thy form from off my door!"* *Quoth the raven:* _'Wakawakawaka'_
owner: say "nevermore" raven: say nevermore owner: *playing pacman* no no owner: say nevermore raven: say nevermore owner: *facepalm* raven: wakawakawakawaka
I want a raven just to teach it how to say "ahem, caw caw" just like a man, so when people come to visit they have a moment where they suspect that raven is just a man pretending to be a bird.
I am always kind of amazed by how deep their voices can be for an animal of their size (admittedly big by flying bird standards, but still); it can be hard to believe it's not a voice-over.
“Be that word our sign of parting, bird or fiend!” I shrieked, upstarting- "Get thee back into the tempest and the Night’s Plutonian shore! Leave no black plume as a token of that lie thy soul hath spoken! Leave my loneliness unbroken!-quit the bust above my door! Take thy beak from out my heart, and take thy form from off my door!” Quoth the Raven “Say Nevermore.”
It's a dark cold night. You awake from your bed to see a dark feathery creature at the open window. It's stares at you with dark eyes opening a sharp beak. It's speaks... "Wakka wakka"
I love how it says "Say Nevermore" as if the person was telling it to say nevermore, but it learned the entire command rather than just the single word.
@@Sheltieshangrila It's because she literally has a song called that. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-pRpeEdMmmQ0.html Though yes, what you said is also true.
I assume he was saying "Say Nevermore" because thats what his owner was saying to him so he was simply mimicking him, but I'd love to think that he's actually being a smartass and saying "Say Nevermore" to fuck with his owner. Like how people will say something like "Say goodnight John!" and they'll be like "Goodnight John!"

@@Pragnantweggyboard It's crazy tho it sounded so unnatural like he is not even an animal just an instrument of some sort, crazy how nature has gifted those pretty birds this talent :o
