There’s always SOMETHING that the officials are shady on in nearly every every game the Chiefs play. Sarah, Bobby… you’re not crazy. Big money is controlling this league and the Chiefs are at the center of it. If we know anything about football at all we can watch a game no matter who the Chiefs play (especially in the playoffs) and see where officiating crews are favoring the Chiefs. Both teams playing by two different sets of rules. This is how the Chiefs keep winning Super Bowls even when they don’t have a great roster.

Everyone just needs to calm the hell down. Hype game lived up to it and came down to less than an inch. The wild takes and overreaction especially nationally are just bs. We played very similarly against Houston last year (in terms of mistakes/rust /identity)but it was Houston last year and it was at home. We have to live with preferential treatment for the Champs (and the money the Swifters bring in) but it can be overcome. Since the Dobbins injury things have changed for the Ravens and no starters of import play in the preseason, leaving rust and kinks, especially with new pieces, specifically this year in coaching and the young inexperienced o line, its the affect of not risking injury before it "means something". Sucks to take a loss but many things are correctable. Down 2 scores and 2 timeouts you can't play the power run game with Henry as much. Plenty good and bad to take away from this game but take it in stride. If i do have one major concern, it's one that many people don't talk about, and that is Reid owns Harbough. I actually like our coach, but if we were to lose to the Chiefs in the playoffs again, i will add my name to the list of ppl that think it's time to move on. Having said that, without the bitter the sweet just ain't as sweet, LFG Ravens.

So I am listening to this episode in the audio only space and I got to the part where Sarah is dissecting and giving her take on Ryan Clark’s comparison of LJ to Russell Westbrook. So I think that RG3’s comment is the perfect rebuttal to Ryan’s wild take and the issue I have had with The Ravens for a while now. In one breath we say we want Lamar to get better with the small stuff. Taking those short chunk yards and all of the great things that Kurt Warner and Steve Young say that they would like him to progress towards. Then in the next breath we say but he has got to make the big throws at crucial times and if he doesn’t then the media criticism is somewhat fair. I say bull crap to that. You cannot expect a man to do it all. This game Lamar had to put on the Super Man cape really early and yeah he should have made the throws but my goodness! I can see why he didnt. He and Likely were the offense the entire time. We need to figure out who we are without Lamar having to do Lamar things all of the time. Pat is not in that position.
