I am glad I was not the only one angry about this game especially during the second half. This team is not helping themselves with the narrative about us in the 4th quarter.

Henry and LJ is Shaq and Kobe. Figure out that formula and they’ll become unstoppable.

On another note, the Refs just handed KC their 3rd win on the season. Refusing to call pass Interference against their defense in the end zone ! The NFL has totally become unwatchable !

Good to hear someone with a realistic take on this game. Alot of fans/commentators are excited because of a Win, when we didn't put up any points after that first drive after halftime when we got the ball to start. On top of that, our CB group was struggling, and so many times I saw guys throwing their hands up like there was confusion in who was covering who. This was just the Cowboys. The passi g game can't get going because pressure is in LJ's face before routes can develop. The defense looks Vanilla as anything. Lastly, this mentality that as soon as we get a good lead, it's like we take our foot off the gas, prob due to the poor o-line play preventing explosive passing plays. Anyway, many complaints but I REALLY don't see this team going anywhere near the playoffs unless the coaches come back to reality and make some changes. Prob not gonna happen after this week not seeing Cleveland or Rosengarten once. Good coverage coach, looking forward to the film this week

Coach, it looks like our defense is always fatigue in the 4th quarter. The past rush disappears so the secondary is covering entirely too long and getting burnt.

They are still playing *NOT* to lose instead of staying aggressive in the 4th.

More and more convinced that the refs are controlled by Vegas ever since all the betting partnerships with the NFL. I don't know how else to describe the 4th quarter of this game. Ghost call after ghost call to continue Cowboy drives to try and make it a close game. Last week was questionable but this week was just absurd

For my self I appreciate you giving your honest opinion. As a ravens fans of course we're glad to see them come out with a win but still recognize the areas were falling short, and I think the players would tend to agree as well that they can perform better.

127 plays today... 19 penalties, which is 15% of plays. They are making even Ravens games turnoffable for me. If I weren't such a fan, I'd probably turn these games off the refs are so overofficious! When the penalties called, as opposed to actual penalties... are closing in on 1 in every 5 plays... something has to be done by the NFL!! And yes... the Ravens seem to be marked by someone in officiating or the NFL. I'll preface by saying that I'm not an X's and 0's guy, but I do know fundamentals.... The slants given up by the D are disturbing to me in the extreme. I know you can't see all on tv, but I did pay attention to the db's lining up against the receivers, and it seemed to me, alignment ( alignment, assignment, technique ) was much of the time undisciplined. Maybe that's technique and alignment... but technically more of technique within the alignment... I guess... That is, they don't even seem to care about inside leverage, at all, and no one but Simpson can seem to cover a slant consistently, and he's a lb. By that I mean be on the inside of the receiver to be in position to knock the ball down. They move around willy nilly without concern for their alignment.... if this is, indeed, a problem... this is Orr and the db coach, but mostly Orr in my view... Great commentary... PS: I don't chart plays, but I got a Wink Martindale vibe today in the 2nd half with the blitzing. It seemed heavier than what was done under McDonald, but that might be a wrong assertion. It would be nice to know if we are blitzing more than we did under McDonald. If so... it could explain the coverage problems... and high completion %...

Orr is struggling against the pass. Hopefully he'll figure out things, similar to McDonald. Funny how everyone forgets about McDonald's first year struggles. Most Ravens fans were calling for Harbaugh to be fired, as usual. Fans are so clueless. It's funny tho. Monken could've put the game away in the 3rd if he would just use PLAY-ACTION.

Like so many wins last year, I can’t even be happy with these wins. These wins will not win games in the playoffs so I just know we’re setting ourselves up for more heart break. This needs to change

It's getting to the point where analytics guys are going to have to rewrite the probabilities for comebacks because the ravens have blown so many instances where they're expected to win 95%+ of the time.

I believe that I heard a lot of comments (mine included) that we were too predictable last week against the Raiders. I was totally amazed at our first series this week. I was surprised at Lamar's first play first down. Derrick's run into the middle afterwards was a shot across the bow to set up the Cowboys to expect a pass play on the next snap, when instead Hill got the ball for a long first down. It looked like the exact opposite of the first series against the Raiders. Like all the bitching we all did got through to the coaching staff. I thought the calls became predictable again, like clouds passing in the breeze, with periods of brilliance in between. Later, I know some of the zone coverage must have been frustrating for Roquan, who probably expected a safety to back him up beyond his little patch of heaven. I constantly wonder if they communicate in mid-play, like 'Watch this guy' or for that matter, when a lineman is getting beat to let Lamar know to watch his rightside/leftside/backside.

Hamilton looks off, you’re right with us playing the QB and not the receiver. Definitely more physical but once the pass rush was gone we were toasted

The Dallas comeback was courtesy of shady officiating. We miss McDonald, hopefully Zack Orr gets things tightened up in time for the Bills. Wiggins and Simpson are going to be stars.

I hate how the Ravens defence makes me nervous no matter who they’re up against. Confidence in that unit is completely shot.

I put the collapse much more so on the defense and special teams…they gave the cowboys back to back scoring drives with the onside kick. My one point of optimism defensively is that the cowboys were under 200 yards passing early through the 4th. Them going for 150 passing in less than 10 minutes just shouldn’t happen with our talent in the secondary. Holding out faith it won’t happen again.

Justin Tucker almost cost us another game and refs stole a safety from us.

I'm mostly positive about the Ravens outlook. The officials seem biased against them though and that is difficult to overcome. The non called pi and holding against them is more problematic than the ticky tack type of calls going against them constantly imo. Teams are holding by technique and only getting the worst choke holding called. Our dbs cannot get away with much while I saw a lot of contact past 5 yards on our guys.

I think maybe we are seeing how impactful maulet might be to our secondary? I really don’t understand why we are seeing such a drop off on that side of our defense. Orr obviously needs to get better with adjustments and putting players like Roquan and Hamilton to make plays, but both of them seem lost on the field and not aware of their surroundings. Makes sense that the linebacker coach is doing well with rush defense but is gonna need time on coverages and secondary

Flowers was my favorite WR in that draft but not a fan of how we use him has double the targets of bate with 15-20 more yards wish we would use zay downfield more or mix it up a little

I think your analysis is spot on. Up 22 points, I expected a dagger play action pass. I don't recall any attempts. There are a few key players performing below expectations (Ro, Hamilton, Tucker, Williams) IMO. Agree 100% play calls is to protect oline. That's smart, but I think different personnel (Mekari RG, Rosen at RT) on the right side is a better long term solution.

Thanks Coach. The refs are getting out of hand. Hamilton and Ro look frustrated. Our secondary D was said to be elite on paper. Finally, we had lots of great corners and safeties. But for some reason, our whole Defense looked gassed, or out of sorts by 4th Q. Lamar and Derek create what... a triple threat? Tough to defend. BUT 3 of 5 worst defensive linemen ranked by PFF going into this game were Dallas Cowboys. So, there's that.

The score does not tell the story of the whooping put on the cowboys. I never say refs play a part but after rewatching the game, there were absolutely WRONG calls, all against the Ravens. The late hit on the QB was trash along with many other 3rd down garbage calls that allowed the cowboys to stay in the game.

I agree coach, it’s hard to watch if not for Lamar. But the Cowboys coaches staff must not have watched any film prior to the game. Thank goodness they waited to the 4th quarter to make the adjustments.

Roquan Smith has also been pretty bad in coverage this year. A lot of TE passes have been completed right over him in zone.

I’m not the sharpest tool in the toolbox, can I ask a question? For the illegal touching/grounding call. Why didn’t harbaugh accept the penalty? In thought it was half the distance to the goal and a loss of downs.

Again, a team attacked that soft zone in the 4th. Again the refs gave them key questionable calls.

I agreed with everything except i believe we should easily be 3 - 0. Everything you said otherwise about every player was spot on. I agree about the uneveness of calls. Last week was a no call roughing the kicker on Stout. There should also have been a call when one guy on the Raiders literally body slammed Flowers. This week simple swipes were turned into face masks and some more. That call on Oweh when he hit Prescott was clean and we got penalized for it. Overall, at the end of it, we gotta win and keep out foot on the gas so heavy that the win is convincing start to finish. We gotta stop getting comfortable or so gassed at the end that we nearly lose the game even with a comfortable lead.

As of this week Ravens are dead last in penalties committed and FIRST in LEAST penalty yards against!! That’s absurd! I know the saftey wasn’t a coaches decision but the head refs did talk to harbaugh and right after Orr kinda got in his face and asked “what are you doing?” Or something like that and Harbaugh said (read his lips) “I thought you wanted…” it was odd.

I get being negative but let’s not forget the extra chances they got in the 4th quarter….. horrible roughing the passer, illegal contact, phantom hands to the face….. it’s the nfl and it’s hard to win…. The freaking Rams beat the 49ers with nobody on the field, the panthers smashed the raiders man, the Vikings and broncos won as well and dominated….. nobody in week 3 is perfect…. It’s Zach Orr 3rd week as a coordinator….. give the line their flowers, they did good regardless of what you say…..

the league does not want the imagery of a baltimore champion. They never have since 96' for whatever reason. the refs obviously tried to tip the scales starting with Oweh roughing, total crap. Love lamar and bmore bully defense (still waiting for it to click this season) Sick of the nfl referee nonsense and woke crap.

Everything else in this country is becoming corrupt. No surprise that sports are too. Corruption spreads everywhere and everyone loses except those at the top. It’s annoying and sad. The ravens make too many mistakes and play too conservative making it easy for the refs to affect the outcome.

And the stubbornness to stick with those guys on the right side is just delusional at this point. The offense is clearly playing with 1 hand tied behind its back. And I have to disagree with you Cleveland is a viable RG as we seen him step in last year with no fall off in the offense and the offense ran more behind him than Zeitler

We can’t nitpick the offense today. They played well but wanting us to pass more with a big lead is a stretch. We miss a couple of those throws then everybody will ask why are throwing the ball with a big lead. It’s a damn if you do, damn if you don’t situation. My biggest problem with this team is the defense playing so soft and conservative in the second half. Me personally I love when we are bumping and running our corners. It allows our pass rushers to win. And we hardly ever get beat over the top unless theirs a busted coverage. I would love us to compete instead of playing not to lose.

All three games so far the opposing team has gotten a free TD from the refs. IMO I don't really care who wins or loses these games. But when the integrity of the game is altered in such a way, I can't ignore it. These refs are extra suspicious this season. 3 penalties in the 1st half called then we see what happened in the 4th quarter almost like some sorta ref quota... I see what yall doing NFL...

I am befuddled, JT was the best kicker in the game, but this season he had been hot garbage, and we can run teams off the field I the 1st 3 quarters, but CANNOT FINISH. WE GIVE UP EVERY PLAY IN THE 4TH. Close the fucking door guys. Penalties and scheme. Our o line was really good for the first 2 and a half quarters, but even with the lead, we PREVENT, and the we are a turn style. We just vanish in the fourth defensively. 2000 ravens played amazing defense and once they got the lead we closed games out. Now we take a lead and duck and covet, we don't IMPOSE OUR WILL on the opposition, Lamar is a legend but team needs to play better. You have a generational talent please don't waste it.

Is Oweh the unluckiest pass rusher? Coach you're right. Sports capitalism considers their curated product is better than simply allowing a game to be played. The curation occurs through penalties, how coaches call the game and betting lines. The game was called per Ravens betting line, fade them into the 4th Q. An NFL game behaves more like a traded financial instrument, I.e. range bound until there's clear momentum either buyers or sellers.

Idk why everyone’s so fine with the fact they can just throw a flag Willie-nilly to make sure Vegas is always spot on… it’s turned me off the league entirely and I’d rather just watch ur break downs instead of the actual NFL product they give us. Went to game last year, hadn’t been to one in person in years, and every play you were waiting to see if they threw a flag and it ruined to flow of the game and I think they do a really good job of hiding this on the tv with commercials but it’s terrible now.

Better teams will shut down our run game. We can’t run or throw right. The line is so bad. Also, we are predictable in formation. A good team would have saw the QB counter coming just from the formation. I don’t know. I don’t think you line up and say “this is what I do, stop it” when 2/5 of the oline is horrible and they’re on the same side.
