It's been a while, but glad to be back and watching an ep! Fun opening as always, and grats on the shock pulls. Thanks POA! On my end, I brought an opened 1 draft pack. Just one, to get a feel of the set but nothing more. I don't have a lot to spend on MTG right now. >Anime Foil Karlov of the Ghost Council. I'm not complaining ofc, but wow. Very weird. I guess I know what Commander deck I'm probably building next... Also the card order was totally opposite for my pack, with the uncommons, old border, and rare + foil slot at the back, but it was a Belgian printing since I'm in the UK.
Just starting the video, but I was fine with my draft box. I hit 6 shocks which I was happy with and a few good hits along with stuff that I’ve been looking for up throw in some existing decks and ideas for future decks. So many guildgates lol but overall I’m with you. So much nostalgia since the OG Rav block was when I started playing
It is kinda like DMR. Can't get a regular border rare and a old border rare in the same pack. What you can get is Shock/Chromatic lantnern in the mana fixing slot, a foil rare (any border) and a regular rare or an old border rare. So the total you can get is 3, whereby one will be a shockland or chromatic lantern. Why they did this? No clue. Very silly imo, especially at the remastered price point. I hope you're right. Cant wait to pick some of this up for relatively cheap when the hype dies down.
Personal I don't need to revisit this plane... When I can revisit others two others for the cost of this one lol! If rather draft commander masters lol. Got to live those land in Rav tho lol
So a rare in the mana fixing slot does NOT replace the pack rare (pack at 11:20), but a rare in the old border slot does (pack at 13:01)? So maximum rares in a pack is 2?
Completely On the same page when it comes to prices. It’s the game piece vs collectors game argument. Are they cheap game pieces meant to buy individually or are they collectors pieces that should have and retain value
