NOOO YOU IDIOT MOST OFTHE TIME PAIN ONLY SETS IN WHEN THINGS SIMMER DOWN. WHATS UP WITH U PEOPLE COMMENTING ON WHAT IS ACTUALLY UP TO THE SUBJECT AND COMPARING IRT TO WHAT U THINK U WOULD OR WOULDNT DO IN A REALITY THAT DID NOT HAPPEN ...........and ...I hope never will ..for your sake and society;s sake in general. why dont youpeople fantazise about porn orsome otherharmless activity why do you get so worked up for a potentially tragic situation. I MEAN C;MON AMERICA WTF or r we all damaged goods ripe for the cuckoo farm we dont no whats sane anymore?
Ven Tarfield how the fuck they good when he shot 12 shots down the side walk and hit the robber once multiple casualties could of happened over 500$ dollars most ...
Mikah Sarow have you ever had adrenaline pumping threw your veins, and getting shot at and then trying to shoot at someone. Shut the fuck up cause you don’t know what it’s like shooing while getting shot at
I love the brotherhood between these officers, it's kinda heartwarming (and almost hilarious). "Travis, go sit down." "I'm good..." "I know you're good, sit the FU*@ down!" -ha!
I love how they say: “trev, sit down” Trev:”I’m good” Partner: “I know you are good, sit da f*** down” That’s like perfect, he is so worried but so rude at the same time.
This is what police officers all over this country do. They protect the public to the best of their ability and the best ones train hard. This guy, definitely takes training seriously and his mindset is right. It’s a job that takes uncommon courage, something few people in the public will understand.
Most cops carry first aid supplies with them, which include tourniquets, but I agree, this cop took a shot like a boss. I hope he was okay, and as for the perp, he got what he deserved.
no go sit down... im good.. I know your good, go sit the fuck down lmao. Reminds me of the same conversation a friend and I had years ago when we got into it with some others. Granted we were not officers nor were they, but still same love for a brother. I think my recovery would have gone better if my friend had one of those tourniquets instead of his damn boot laces and a screw driver, but it ended well.
But if he would have killed one of their family members then they would be sayi.h kill that MF. Average citizens do not understand how police officers are trained. They shoot until there is no longer a threat to officers or innocent life. You don't stop shooting until that person is not capable of shooting anymore.
@Johnny Duffin True, they are trained to shoot at center mass and put the suspect down and not able to harm anyone else. EMS will respond and try to safe their life once the threat has been removed. You wont believe some idiot in the comment section claiming his dad was a 10 year veteran of the force and that and stated "they dont dont shoot to kill the man....they shoot disable them or make them have less of an advantage over the officers". like this is a video game and the cops can just shoot them in the leg and they will go down or shoot the gun out of their hand or some shit.... unbelievably stupid some people are!
@@kathismith7441 He was fine. He was safer standing there in cover than limping away. His partner was worried about it but it was obvious that he was in a safe and secure location, he was still able to use his handgun efficiently, and he had eyes on the suspect. What he did was absolutely textbook.
You're missing probably the biggest factor - adrenaline. He wasn't trying to be a hero, when he got shot his fight response went into full effect. It's why he's able to nonchalantly say "that hurt" and "I'm good", even running on it; the pain is being suppressed and his buddy has to talk him down from his adrenaline high
Yea because they are well trained police, most are, everyone who wants the police gone are fucking morons and dont know shit except for what the news man on tv has to say
Adrenaline kicked in and he got shot and it probably hurt a little compared to the women who got shot unexpectedly and just got shot out of no where so it probs hurt more and also when he's just a king
1:48 Officer 1: **calmly sips his brandy** I do say, old chap, that hot projectile was rather painful when it struck me below my iliopsoas." Officer 2: **gently puffs on his cigar** "Mm, quite... I believe the assumption to which all of us had arrived was that the violent insertion of a foreign body -- especially given the nature of its temperature and velocity -- would, indeed, have been rather unpleasant; yes."
thanks for putting yourself in harms way, just for the common person. might seem like it's a regular thing but its not. Need more officers with a heart like this man.
not a hater, just saying fitness has nothing on heart! Awareness and heart you can do anything. no go sit down... im good.. I know your good, go sit the fuck down lmao. Reminds me of the same conversation a friend and I had years ago when we got into it with some others. Granted we were not officers nor were they, but still same love for a brother. I think my recovery would have gone better if my friend had one of those tourniquets instead of his damn boot laces and a screw driver, but it ended well... for me and my brother from another mother. Though I do still have a limp 25 some years later. Thank God I changed my ways, and these officers returned home to their loved ones.
That cop was one serious badass to stay at low ready while his partner applied the tourniquet, then completed the mission. Scratch one bad guy, and the good guys go home.
Why are these people in cars, who see multiple police officers ready to fire, driving in the middle of a gunfight? I don’t understand what goes through people’s heads bro 🤦♂️
I can attest...the best police department when it comes to training. Firearms instructors had always been top notch. My brothers you made me proud. So happy you are ok Travis.
Did anybody else notice how both those cops, especially the cop after a shootout and being shot, pointed their guns down simultaneously, when that other cop ran in front of the crossfire.
Bruce Dueck I wouldn’t say officer safety as much as them sending rounds down range as there was someone actively shooting at them, it becomes self preservation at that point. If the criminal didn’t get killed there might’ve been hostage situations, additional casualties and further loss of life that was avoided by taking the risk and placing his shots where he thought was best
They did the right thing they are not gonna risk letting a armed man who already shot at police run away because of people behind it they need to stop the threat of couldve been a lot worse
Bruce Dueck it’s hard to try and paint them in the wrong for returning fire against an active shooter. He was armed and a danger to everyone around, and the police had no way to move to better positions without being likely killed, giving them virtually no choice but to risk it
Awesome work done by the officers that cop who is hit is so awesome how he handles the situation just great hes a very strong hearted guy to worry about his fellow officers and bystanders. Man is Made of pure steel
Mz Shae let dude run off with 100$ it’s not like you gona run off with anymore then 200$ from a 711 register then get the footage and put a warrant out instead of putting innocent people in danger my boys mom almost got killed because of this shooting amh whoever else I don’t know
Still the most hardcore cop I’ve seen. And he’s in my state: if shit played out to where I was at the same place as him and I got to fight along side him that would be so fucking awesome.
What a hero! He got shot because instead of taking cover he jumped in front of 2 civilians to keep them from getting shot while returning fire!! Great officer, need more like him! Hope he and the woman that was shot made full recoveries!
I like Travis' mentality after being shot, but afterwards when it calmed down he should have gotten back and relaxed. He becomes a liability at that point. Good job still!
These officers are absolutely incredible at their jobs. 0 to 100 in under 3 seconds and they got it fucking handled. THIS is the 99% of officers that put their lives on the line every single day. Stop the hate, hold the real villains accountable, and show some respect to the men who do this so you dont have to.
The cop that was shot is probably the best cop most cops are probably lie down screaming help but know this guy got shot in the leg and acted like he just fell
Props to the officer who was shot and just shrugged it off. And props to the the partner who quickly and effectively treated his wound, whilst maintaining a small hit box. Give these men a raise. Please.
He took that shot like a champ, i didnt even notice he got shot cause i didn't see him flinch or act like somethings wrong. He's so badass and he still stand his ground after that.
*gets shot "i need a tourniquette, go ahead and handle that for me while i lay down cover fire and re-engage as if I wasn't shot just 5 seconds ago, quick quick now, old boy. get behind me." Absolute G
I Watched That 7-11 Employee Save Over Like Hundred People That Day..! If He Didnt Make All Of Us Go Up The One Way On Cofax An Penn We Would Of Been In The Cross Fire I Had My 6Month old Daughter In The Car.. Thank You Dewayne Even Tho I Never Got A Chance To Tell You..
@Zachary Sewell Not saying its a good idea, but imagine the quality of police we would have if you first had to join the armed forces in order to be a police officer.
That cop wasn’t such a badass, adrenaline is one hell of a drug, and there is a lot of it running through your system if you’re being shot at. Most people could take a bullet in the leg and not even feel it (as long as it doesn’t hit bone, that hurts worse that anything). After about 1-2 hours the adrenaline will completely wear off and then the real pain sets in. I gotta respect the officer for his incredible professionalism during a shootout though.
@@leandro5840 Spanish, English and I'm learning Cyrillics. So technically I know both of your guy's languages but I didn't mean any offense. Just need to fix your English. Which is funny because I can tell you speak Spanish because you said lenguages, which is close to lengua.
I notice Travis for wedding ring on, hope the wife had a nice cold beer waiting for him when he got home. Man deserves a nice cold brew after this shift
