@@bingusman69he’s scored 20 goals multiple times, and this is his first season struggling due to an injury. Do you even follow hockey, or just the oilers in general?
I agree. Team friendly deal because he knows he did not play well at all in the first 3/4 of the season. He’s a proud guy and will work with the Oilers to stay. I hope Vinny resigns as I think he’s going to be a really good player. We need his size and toughness back there!
Don't know why Speck is even allowed in the room anymore. Players and fans despise him so what's the point. He basically slaps Vinny with a sly backhanded insult. "nobody was calling for you last year". I guarantee you, that other teams had interest in a big, mean, emerging defence man. He is definitely more battle proven now, but that doesn't mean he wasn't wanted last year either.
@@darpompie4354 - I think he said that because Vinny was still under contract. So who could be calling him? I don't think Speck was saying it to be insulting. The Truth can be hard to hear, but if its insulting, Vinny has other issues.
I agree, I think he get a 3 year of maybe just under what he wants. I think once u come here you actually really like being here… we need brown next year
I would love to see both of these guys back. Vinny helped a lot in earlier rounds and I think he's only going to get better if given the chance. He's just that kind of guy because he plays with heart. I would also like to slap certain members of the Edmonton media for being so damn insulting. The organization and the fans are great but man, the media probably drives players away. Thank god Bob is there to cut the tension.
4:46 Spector's dumb questions strikes again. The way he worded that and laughed while asking it. Brutal. Even Brown started laughing at how stupid Spector is.,
Ya I like really stupid questions that are so boring......Same questions same boring answers....Spector at least docent ask f king BORING questions that are ALL the same day after day.
Pretty sure Vinnie gets a call from the Habs... at least I hope so, he's earned a shot to play for his childhood favorite. That being said, maybe he stays, and that would be awesome!
Great playoffs Browny! Hope you come back and we can (or you can) make it work. Same for Vinny, I hope he resigns (and the money works, even league min is a nice raise for him) as we need his size, grit and toughness. I would sign him for 3 years, 2.75 million. In y in French was basically asked the same question that Tony asked and he answered the same. Said he was disappointed in not playing much in the finals but took it as a leaning experience. Said it’s a kids dream to be playing in Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals. Second question was about wanting to come back to the Oilers. Answered the same as he did before. - my French is not that good anymore but that’s the jist of it.
Brown is a beast for working through the tough months to emerge a major hero. Beauty. Vinny, you’re one of my favourites. Edmonton loves you. Spector, that was such a disrespectful question. These players deserve way better reporting than that. Next year - 🔥
I definitely was a fan of brown in the early season, but seeing how he played at the end has totally changed my perspective. he creates so many opportunities for this team.
Im feeling that most of the UFAS will sign team friendly deals, most of them are older players who want to win and love the atmosphere here in Edmonton.
