Nic, I love the fact that you’re showing the accommodation at DP that you dragged your chick half way across the planet to stay at. I’ve stayed in that exact same spot with my girlfriend and almost left single. Also, sucks you got bit by some type of an insect. I got stung by a giant red hornet in Bali while riding a moped, damn near swerved into an oncoming bus. Amazing how something so small manages to hurt so bad. But, things could always be worse, like lack of swell…

Only an easy wave if you’re Nick Von Rupp. Truth is that beginner intermediates should choose other waves. These guys make it look easy .. but it’s not easy. If the rip doesn’t drag you out to sea, then the razor sharp coral will slice you up on your first mistake. Proceed with caution.

Epic! I just made a comment referring to 1988. Boat only. No crowds. If you tried to land or camp, it wasn’t pretty. Some guys got really messed up. It was great time to explore and find places see things never or rarely photographed/ filmed.. ✌🏼

Thanks for the feedback. And no there's no channel, you gotta walk on the reef and time it right so you can start paddling in between the sets. It can be quite easy but it can be hell too.
Well we used to surf it with zero amenities or people and if you got hurt - which was always - then you'd face real problems. Amazing you are whining about it when you've surfed some pretty out there waves.
there is literally no visible reaction on our face , you absolutely are one of the best goofy footer's on earth, you charge to the point where you command respect, from all of the surfing community , but you have become more and more unlikable with your progression through life, as a person, this is not a knock on your surfing ability at all, you used to be such a nice kid,
