Wow, I didn’t think making a raw food soup 🍜 was so simple. I have been having digestion issues with large salads🥗 , so I’m glad that there are other alternatives to enjoy a raw vegan meal without sacrificing the flavor, and removing the excess fiber. I appreciate you taking the time to share your insight on how to make a raw vegan soup.

Give a man a bunch of kale and you feed him for a day. Teach him to grow kale and you feed him for a lifetime! Thanks so much, John, for all you teach us. Happy New Year!

When you learn how to eat raw, a list will help, and going further, learning is the way to go.

What a fantastic video! I really enjoyed it from the beginning to the end. This has been one of the best cooking lessons I had. Just a question John, what is your opinion about heating a bit the raw food, so that in cold winter days you feel warmer.

I personally do not heat my food. Its most natural to eat room temperature food. Based on my research, when you eat hot or cold food it takes extra energy from your body to bring the food to the temperature of your body - so if you wanted to heat the food, heat it to your body temperature. If you want to feel "warmer" in winter time, eat some foods such as hot peppers, ginger or other spices that will give the "warmth" without the food.

Thankyou for this!!! I spent a full 48 hours (between doing other things!) trying to de-bitter a collard green soup I got overly ambitious with the greens on :). This video gave me some great info :). Hopefully that won't happen to me again!!

lz28394 Add a bit of sweetener (what ever you use.) Add it to your bowl of soup to taste.

I feel like I am the only raw vegan who has been having hot flashes all winter!!! It could be because I eat avocados every day and I have an affinity for spices--so that's my recommendation :). Also get enough protein (from greens, citruses, etc...I don't eat nuts and seeds). I try to get enough protein every single day and I think that makes a big difference.

Hello! I was watching and thinking sliced mushrooms would be good for texture. Then it occurred to me that I never see any raw foodies eat mushrooms. Maybe I'm wrong,

Lots of mushrooms have toxins that can only be removed by thermal treatment so must be cooked before eating. Google Paul staments. He is the mushroom king.

I would want to run a Geiger counter over the rock dust before using it, as rocks naturally emit radiation, and often times carry heavy metals.
