I really like this technique and I think its just what I have been looking for. I am already a big fan of Faderfox controllers because I have the PC4. Now it's time to upgrade to the MX12
pretty cool stuff..... how about assigning your faders to clip starts instead plus utility gain? this will give you a clean recorded arrangement for post prod... just a thought
Really great jam here. Nothing like live automation. I always wonder why Ableton never allowed you to use the 64 pads and push as an 8 channel volume mixer. The top most pads are the top of the volume, and the lower pads are lower volume. You would only have eight volume options but that should be enough for fun.
Great video and nice track. Any any ideas where to map an EQ 3 low cut to a push two, or another method of cutting the low end whilst jamming on the push 2?
you could make a rack and map the low cut on/off trigger, you just have to switch to the right track whilst jamming. Another option would be to set up your 8 most used parameters in the user page of your push
If you do this map the faders to utility not the volume, otherwise a volume adjust will deactive ur automation. I also recommend jamming around for 10-20 mins before recording the arrangement!
Good work, feels much easier to arrange this way because you are feeling the track. I kind of regret buying akai mpk mini mk3 instead of arturia minilab mk3, mostly because of unresponsive pads and keys, but also lack of faders that can be used in this way
@@douglasfugazi it’s not the same model, I don’t recommend mine because pads are impossible to finger drum on, keys are somewhat useful after adjusting the velocity curve, the only thing I like are the knobs
