My sister did time in prison for 5 years and told us that child killers, rapist and child abusers are oftentimes treated cruel. Not only by other female inmates but C.O's as well.
I once did 23 years for a crime I didn’t commit, and all the while I was incarcerated, not once did anyone bother me about anything. When I woke up from that dream, I swear I had hit the lottery and given 5 million dollars for my unlawful arrest and prosecution only to bet it all and lose it in Las Vegas. No justice until the laws are revised in reference to CPS, law enforcement and the courts. These children deserve better, these black children deserve better, all children deserve a fair shot in life and to be loved even if it isn't their own parents. Let me tell y'all something, I'm from Ohio and she's going to Mariesville prison where she has no chance. They are going to rip her apart in there. They don't play about children being harmed especially by the birth mother. She's going to get tortured. Now the boy friend has a lot to go to it's 12 prisons here in Ohio but it doesn't matter they don't play either so justice was served.

Many channels have been able to verify he never filed for custody, wasn’t paying support, there’s never been an “Aniya law” that he was pilfering money from the public for. So, where in the trial was this information you claim to know?? Trial transcripts and the entire trial is available online & none of what you’ve claimed is in the documents. The Prosecution & Judge during the closing & sentencing made it well known “No One, No One, was there for Aniya Day”.
I love how her father dressed up for court each time he attended- it shows respect for the court- in the meanwhile Deonte is thinking about his life in prison cuz harming a child is one of the Worst thing you can do in prison- he will have to watch his back his whole sentence.

100%. I’m a single mum, have dated a bit (Only when children were with their father). Tbh I plan on being alone until my children are at least late teens. I’m happy on my own, don’t have time for dating these days. And no random man would ever, ever be allowed around my children. I just don’t understand, this is totally heartbreaking and unacceptable. I’m tired of seeing cases like this. How many children does it take before something changes to help these poor babies?!

They BOTH should have gotten life in prison without the possibility of parole. Tell you why. When a person assists the murderer in the commission of the crime, he is equally guilty. This taken in consideration, even if this creep didn't lift a hand to this little girl (which of course, he did), by his silence ALONE he was accessory to her murder. This child was tortured and and starved for MONTHS, and they are both complicit in the crime. If you agree, give me a big Thumbs Up.

How many times have we seen young men move into the home of a single mother without regard to what relationship he has or responsibility to the care of the children I hope some young men watching this have better understanding that regardless if he feels it’s not his kid, he shares responsibility and obligation to the welfare , care and wellbeing of any child he is under the roof with. It’s only now, 4 years later, that I have completely watched all the videos related to the death of Aniya Day. The mother, Sierra, is a monster not accepting any blame for herself but always projecting the abusive acts to other persons. She has no conscience at all. Poor Aniya, she was born into this world to a criminal mother.
I couldn’t understand the exchange that happened between Deonte Lewis and Aniyahs daddy. What was said between those two? I think daddy said “it’s over” and it sounded like Lewis said something like “I got you, I got you”. Oof! Side note: Aniyahs daddy is handsome af. What was he even thinking sleeping with Sierra?!?
She showed no emotions at all! The CPS workers who overlooked this needs to be charged as well. She's not even my child and my heart aches. The detective did a hell of a job to get justice.
Having babies with people when you’re not married to them puts your children at risk. Chances are you will break up with the person and your child will be exposed to all kind of random people. The dead baby’s daddy is smiling at the verdict but he should have never had a baby with that woman. People don’t just get up and kill overnight. This is a callous disturbed woman.
