Still no mention of the problem police have with criminals. They can't chase you if you commit a misdemeanor. An infraction like speeding or running a stop sign, they CAN chase you. But if a cop sees you breaking into a car or robbing a store under $950, he can't legally pursuit you once your back into your car and driving away. THIS NEEDS TO CHANGE, NOW!

Rejecting safe injection sites is denying the fact that no matter what they do, we will still have people on the streets doing drugs, and tieing up our officers fighting drug users instead of serious crimes. Locking up drug users doesn't solve the problem, it just wastes a lot of tax payers money. It's a mental illness, not a crime. Get it off of the streets, and get these people help.

Sir... a drug user is going to use drugs if they are an addict. It's either safe injection sites, or the streets... so what do you suggest? Throw them all in jail? Think about it. The jails are running out of space. They won't prosecute drug users because there are more serious crimes being committed... rape, murders, etc.. It's very important to be able to rationalize EACH and EVERY situation.

The solution is simple, reward responsible behavior, punish unlawful behavior. District Attorney Boudine must be tough on crime. Stop his Catch and Release rules. Make shop lifters pay for stealing it must not be a Misdemeanor.
