The rider’s bike at 3:20 gets stuck and they just keep sliding down. That had to be really frustrating climbing back up to get it 😜

Here's my inexperienced take: Don't lock your wheels! A skidding wheel has no ability to steer or offer much traction. Seems like too much over-braking causes wash out of the front wheel. But since it's steep as shit, hard to stay off the brakes! Seems like moderate your braking while using your two feet as outriggers is the way to "ride" down upright. A good dropper to get that saddle out of the way is key. But again, I'd love to hear advice from those who can apparently get down this stuff in one piece!

I done it this year and I didn't slide down on my arse either. I personally keep one foot on the pedal on the steep section, at least. Hang your ass over the back and try not to buzz it in the tyre. It's fast, builds up speed quickly. Keep off the front brake and def don't lock a wheel. Scary and fun at the same time, the nukeproof rider Amy, her crash video was scary to watch

They’re allowed but not massively beneficial for the majority of the course. Only the top parts are snow - the rest is rocky, singletrack and even a brutal road climb 😳
