wow, thats the road i take daily from home to school by car, its even more impressing when you actually know the street with its high slope and sharp turns. hands down, amazing video!
You know it’s fast when air braking makes a discernible difference to the rider’s speed. Also, thanks to one of the posters before identifying the road I've been able to discern his average speed. The route is approximately 5.2km long and he covered it in 4'51" which gives an average speed of ~64km/h
completely love this video!!!!! the music is absolutely awesome too!!! this is the video that got me hooked on longboarding, zak is basically the end of level boss you have to beat on a computer game he's that cool ;) serious respect to zak for his pure skill and talent and his ability to foot brake at this insane speed! must be between 50-70mph easy? ive been longboarding for 6 months and just smashed up my knee and shin so in hospital currently but wanna get back to it if i can? i was only hitting 30mph so the Boss has my greatest respect and in my opinion all his videos have fuckin wicked tunes dudes ;) peace and respect to all the longboarding community worldwide as your all baddass dudes :)
How does one even attempt to drift-break when one side is a cliff and the other side is a rock wall? Let alone the fact this is just a narrow bi-lane, limited space. Dood, crazy man ha.
Johny H. I know this thread is over a year old now, but do you know if the flint is added/(melted) into the puck during or post production and sale? Or are there flints in hockey pucks, and if so why? Interested to make my own glove pads. Anyone tried cast aluminium? Would love to experiment with materials and test some different ones out.
Then turn of the sound, mate. I enjoyed this a lot more than all that generic electronic shit that's on most popular downhill videos, it's refreshing to hear something different from that.
