I still cannot believe that American school give you food like you’re in prison or hospital. I packed a Vegemite sandwich in my lunch for years and years, bring your lunch gotta be better than having it served at school 100%
@@jimmyalderman543a lot of kids bring lunch. Honestly most kids that eat at school is cause both parents work and don’t have time to cook, or they’re super poor and can barely afford to cook at home, or they simply don’t care. No caring parent lets their kid eats this.
@@SocialExperiment232all the hot chips and cosmic brownie weren’t good either. Bringing a lunch didn’t usually mean it was healthier. The packed lunch was on par with the school lunches to be honest.
My school had McDonald's in it for years available at lunch but the year before I was a freshman than they had a menu switch with a new anti-obesity campaign theychanged it all to baked and non fried or fatty foods it was like retirement and hospital food
Why do women cake on makeup so their face is 4 different colors it looks ridiculous. Imo makeup has never made anyone attractive that wasn't already. Def the other way around.
Everything about this is so spot on lmfao. The straightened hair with the Hollister sweater and hoodie up with headphones in was on point. Then chingy playing in the background hahahas
my high school sold cookies for a dollar made fresh every morning. someone buying you a cookie was such a flex (edit: I went to high school in Toronto, Canada)
@SallySkellington94 I don't believe I'm that young. Mind you I was born in '05. Although my music tastes is an third Papa Roach and One Direction and a third Taylor Swift lol.
@SallySkellington94 I secretly hate Taylor Swift but my friends love her and my millennial sister has an ongoing crush on Harry Styles who I hate. Mind if they ever see this comment I am disowned but it's okay 😂
Omg the Hollister sweater with the bump in the hair 😂 iconic! I quit wearing it when my mother showed up to my high school matching me down to the hair!! 🤦🏼♀️ never again 😂
I remember helping my younger cousin put in her “bump it” hair accessory for a school dance because she was freaking out that it “wouldn’t work right”. 😂
Some days school lunch was all I ate, loved every bit of it. Especially that Turkey slop they throw on the mashed potatoes. I haven’t had that in such a long time 🤤
My middle school sold round table pizza for $1.50 a slice wrapped in saran wrap, and slush puppies for like $1-$1.50. Add some hot Cheetos or hot fries, best lunch ever lol. High school I can’t say so much. I ditched everyday lol.
In my school, they gave out Domino's pizza during lunch that you could get with lunch tickets every single school day, at first I was like , I'm never getting tired of eating pizza ,but after a week ,I was getting regular school lunch because they had other options
They still have square pizza but it's not the same. They switched to a different square pizza that's not nearly as good. I still remember when they switched it, the entire school was pissed even the teachers were mad about it.
I remember the square pizza and half way cooked cookies. I only ate the outside of the cookie, but we also had buffalo wings for substitute if we didn't want pizza. Man those were the days!!!!!!
@@997tone Only when I want to eat them straight out of the package and you can't get a cookie looking like that out of the microwave. It'll just be mush. But, I bake them and only to the extent to where I can still flatten them and the ends a crispy.
Not gunna lie back when I use to have school lunch and that I use to always get pizzas 🍕,Baguettes, cookies 🍪,brownies and some others I can’t remember and we use to have to pay with money that’s on our accounts that got used with our fingerprints 😅😅😅😅😅😅😅 👇👇👇👇👇👇👇
😂😂😂😂😂 ohhhhh, my god! i forgot ALL about those fruitopias! man, they were soooo good, ice cold outta the vending machines?! there was always a flavor that was out, too, and whenever the guy would come restock, theres a line waiting to get it, already! lol.
What the. We didn't have rectangle pizzas they made their own but still sucked just not as bad as some of the other stuff. Also our cookies were alright definitely more over cooked and individually wrapped.
My stepdad ran a store and on lunch break I'd go to his store by a big bag of hot Cheetos and my mom who ran the restaurant in the store would put nacho cheese and chilli in it and I'd eat it straight out of the bag after pulling a Kardashian and shaking the shit out of it
DUDE!!! I LOVED the undercooked cookies!!! I hate when they get all dry and hard. A properly baked cookie is getting dry/hard in friggin 30 minutes. These were always super soft, like a cookie with a small amount of cookie dough in the center. Fire!!!
I feel the same so here's a tip. Use a recipe for BIG CHEWY cookies, cook as directed. When done, do not leave them on the warm cookie sheet or cold plate. Use a drying rack for abt 10 min until theyre not super hot anymore (they're like 5 bucks on Amazon). THE MAIN TRICK IS: leave them in a Tupperware overnight and keep them stored there when not eating them. The humidity in the Tupperware from the warm cookies will keep them from drying out and getting all hard.
I graduated last year and omg I just got flashbacks from lunch time me and my friends would buy a bag of ether chocolate chip or sugar cookies and an iced coffee or would buy a cup of ice for a 1$ and pour our Red Bulls or monsters in there and sometimes we would bring creamer and put some in there and that was our lunch almost every day if we were hungrier we’d get a slice of square cheese pizza 😂
They absolutely still have cookies at most all schools in The U.S. i use to have to bake them! They still have plenty of snacks and sweets, they just also make the schools serve healthy , @shandi6246
@@actuallyNo... Not sure where you're located but they don't do that here. No sweets of any kind, except at breakfast where they are fully stocked with Lucky Charms and donuts. Make that make sense.
I got excited for the half baked muffins in my cafeteria. Math class was a "need to go to the bathroom' go get muffin and back to class to share with classmate. We sure had that math teacher fooled when he asked when the bathroom started giving out muffins. 😅
@@thelastminmom5251 yup. Trust me, I know. I took my kids out of public school because of my kids coming home starving every day. They'd tell me what they had, and it was such a SMALL amount of food that they were NOT getting enough to meet their growing requirements. I tried sending lunch with them too, but the jerk said "either eat the one you bring OR the one from the cafeteria" to my kids.😑 They're GROWING y'all! My kids are skinny AF! They NEEDED more food. 😒 I also removed them due to the rampant bullying(My daughter came home with a bruise on the thigh the size of a friggin VOLLEYBALL. Wtf!?) and inappropriate music being played in school(lil Nas? REALLY!?). LOTS of things with public schools are screwed up. Accountability for all their bs (like what my kids went through) being one of em. Lack of proper nutrition based on INDIVIDUAL needs is another one. Used to be like that back in the day. You could get an extra service of fries or whatever "extras" they had for $1 if you wanted, or get BOTH school lunch AND a home packed lunch... I sure tf was never told ONE OR THE OTHER by the folks when I went to school!🤦
The square pizza slices with small pepperoni bits and sausage were bomb, especially in the morning. Don't even get me started with the cereal cups they had too, cinnamon toast crunch will always be the king.
