After highs winds near Abilene a homeowner crawled under his house to see if he could repair a problem with the cable television. That's when things got creepy.
You one brave man. Id need a robot to do this type of job. No freakin way im going underneath there at all let alone with 40 something rattle snakes down there. Id be driving my drone robot to remove them from the comfort of my home lol
Moccasins are aggressive as hell. Ive ran into a few going fishing on the river bank. They don't play around. Never seen a live rattler in person, and I don't care to either
Bugz Murphy love at first bite? 😁I'm kidding. I also had a bunch of black snakes w a yellow ring around the neck that would hang around my place a lot, not very big. I have no idea what kind they are, hopefully not venomous. As long as they don't bother me I don't bother them. The cat would torture the poor things.
But why would you be chased by the cops in the first place? The majority of us are law abiding with no need to run away like a pure fanny, simple of it is play by the book and u won't have to run away
@ and filled your meat freezer with meat and hides to make wallets and boots out of. I actually met a lady who did that in Woodward, Oklahoma. She and her husband had a slew of kids and every year folks would bring her fresh killed snakes...including bull snakes that folks ran over...and she'd freeze them up and make all kinds of cool stuff for her family out of them and feed them with the meat. Me and a buddy got invited for dinner with them and had some. Man could that woman cook too!!! I've had rattlesnake elsewhere but it wasn't as good as hers. Same with rabbit. I don't think there was any kind of game she couldn't cook and make absolutely delicious.

@@littleshepherdfarm2128 That's an awesome story! Thank you for sharing! I have a bunch of large 6+ft skins I want to take to get some boots made. Guy quoted me $750...wow! They're not cheap.
@ yep...her name was something like Leilani and her husband's name was Dave. When me and my buddy got there she was cutting out and installing kitchen countertops! I was like "Dang why couldn't I have met this girl before him?!"😂😂😂
@ and you're welcome. I've been blessed enough to make hat bands and cover a leather belt here and there with snake hides but nothing too fancy. When I was young I was really into hunting and trapping and at one time when my wife and I were going through customs on our way to Niagara Falls they stopped me and gave me a bad time about a bunch of fox tails I had hanging from my rear view mirror. I literally had to get into the trunk and get out some pictures that only by the grace of God I had in there and show him that I had trapped them myself and show him my license for doing so...and I've always lived in Ohio so they didn't come from any other place. They must be kept me there a good hour going through my car trying to find something bogus on me. When they asked us to step out of the car I flat out told the customs cop that I was watching him so if he tried to plant anything in my car we would know right away. He went from being gruff to an idiot and I had to shut up so we could get on our way. My wife was ticked at me for telling him that, but I've seen it happen to people too many times so I was just letting him know where I stood. Then the funny thing was that once we got into Canada they were selling wolf hides and tails and you could even get a black bear hide if you paid enough money for it. That was over 30 years ago so I don't know if they still do that or not. Haven't been to that part of Niagara Falls since then so I don't know. Probably not with all the PETA people out there
That's why I have cats. I can then blame any mysterious sounds or small movement near my feet on them. Even when they're in the other room. I just don't look. It especially works for ghosts. Except when the cat is staring at something I can't see.
I think I'd be moving next day if I was that homeowner. If there were 45 that they could see, imagine how many are elsewhere in/around the property that they didn't know of.
And burning the damn house to the ground. Seriously, 40 or 50 gallons of gasoline minimum. That place is a true to life nightmare. Living in a jail cell would be a paradise compared to that place.
Max's View hey I think I’ve seen that one. From videos I see, these rattlers aren’t really aggressive unless they are being bothered. I used to think rattlers were very aggressive
Badass!! my respect to you guys... I catch garden and black racers in open backyard..thats it...but crawling into a confined space to catch rattle snakes...just badass!
I will agree, if you tell me that the snakes are a symptom of a bigger problem such as rodent infestation. But, if you look at it from the simple perspective of the facs that the guys crawl into a confined space to catch snakes...it may be idiotic. However, consider the broader spectrum...like safety of house dwellers bitten by a snake. Will you just wait for the county animal services to come an pick them up?? good luck with that. You need badass people.
I could not!!!!...am cringing underneath my covers. He says 30-40 rattlesnakes like he's talking about pizzas. No way I could ever be so calm. Gangstas should have to complete 6 days on this man's job before being issued a tear drop!
Gangsters get tear drops for Catching a Body or for a fallin Family Member/Gang member so you implying his job being hard has nothing to do with " Gangstas " lol
Rutmanharley You sure about that? Because airborne snakes flying through the air sounds like nightmare fuel! Lol. I just pictured the crawlspace exploding a bit and just flinging snakes all over the place. Like hail, but long, venomous, and scaly. Dangernoodle storm.
am I the only one whose anxiety level went way up when he started giving us close up vids of the snakes at 14:55? I am like "hey back up man they are way too close" lol
I went to Brisbane, Australia and had no problems there stayed a whole month . I saw a lot of cockatoos and koalas roaming around ! Its beautiful I recomend everyone visit!
I was just thinking to myself that snakes usually stay where there is adequate shelter and food... so what the hell is always keeping them all fed?!?!? 😬 Lol!
@Lee Lunk dude, chill out. He was not saying he would rather saying he would want to have snakes over mice, he was just saying that they most likely have a mouse problem as well. Geez my guy, don't get to defensive.
He can have that job! This is one way I know for a fact that I'm not gonna die, because you'll NEVER EVER see me going underneath a house to get a bunch of damn snakes!! That's crazy!💯

Just imagine finding a den with hundreds of those babies all cuddled up with each other... Plenty to be moved around in West Texas, Arizona, and elsewhere. No shortage of food or snakes.
I'm guessing you've done this before. And the person your with, does he actually do anything? Looks like you're filming, holding a torch, commentating whilst catching a deadly snake.
Lmaoo same I used to like wooden they're useless to me I'm putting toughened reinforced steel wall to stop intruders next I get some neighbours say BUUIIDD THAT WALL I said yea you better help me build it then I tell you where I got it lol
My friend who lived in Myakka Florida moved and we had to go under his house to unbolt his safe. I was a cop back then (1985) so I went under the house with my service revolvers. After I shot 8 or 9 rattles I got a shotgun and got 9 more plus 3 Steve shot. Back then no one cared how many rattlers you killed. Now I know they are important to the eco system.
How does one prevent this type of infestation in the first place? That man is so brave to go hunting for them in those dark cramped spots. There the snakes can move easily but the man is handicapped. Brother, u deserve every bit of money u earned and then increase it by 2!
No, nope. Whole house can go. I would never believe they're all gone. No way I could ever fall asleep there. No way to be sure they didn't make it in the house. Just no! Bye house!
My charger cord fell off the side of my computer and hit my leg!!! I had a mini heart attack thinking it was a snake coming out the screen to get me. Heart still pounding!!!
You're absolutely right...or at least high wattage construction light to light up the whole area underneath. But then they probably be drawn to the heat...so they'd come to you. Cool. I spent over 4 decades catching snakes up here in Ohio but have never had to deal directly with a rattler. Would be kinda cool to do that job I think.
As a house mover, this is probably my biggest nightmare when crawling under houses to cut water and sewer pipes. I’ve seen several crazy things under houses.
@Gary Barrett - True!!! You are not representative of the "animal rights" people I am speaking of. The ones I'm talking about ate the cray-cray ones who trespass onto farms to free chickens or who think that having 30+ poisonous rattlesnakes under a home is okay.
@@JohnDoe-ol3yz - not at all. All my animals are rescues. I'm talking about the idiots who raid small farms thinking every single critter there are in danger OR the @$$hats who protest at a steak restaurant or butcher shop. 🤪
I just want to say, I'm all for animal rights. But having this many rattlers under the house is so unsafe. Saying to just let them be they won't bite? They only bite when they're hungry? WHAT? They will also bite if they feel threatened. A curious pet will definitely get bit. And if the owner needs to go under there with that many snakes can get bit also. That's how he knew these snakes were there. Why not capture them and just relocate them to a more suitable location? I've lived next to sakes like this and never had a problem. But you have to respect each other's space.
Wow......that was crazy how many snakes were under there. I wonder what they did with them??? I’m glad they did it safely. Great video guys! Thanks for taking us along. 👍🏻😃
