The twilight sky over False Creek lit up with a couple of hundred LED drones on Saturday night as part of this year’s Concord Pacific Dragon Boat Festival. It was the first public drone show held in Vancouver, put on by local company Pixel Sky Animations. Footage is courtesy of Concord Pacific Dragon Boat Festival.

I am against this. Those lights are probably disturbing the folks living on all those floating dumpsters in false creek and the money could have been better utilized for free heroin on Hastings.

I was there waiting 2 hours... it was 9:50 or 10 when it started (was supposed to start at 9:30). And there was no music, and it was just bad. I expected more then that. 10m of drones... showing rocks and logos... I expected it to be way better as we are talking about vancover. Bring back fireworks...
