Jose Lopez tbh, I can't think of a greater shot. The only argument is MJ's Last Shot, and the Bulls weren't facing elimination. If he missed, there would be Game 7. If Jesus missed, the season is over, and SA wins. Or even Mr. Clutch's shot in the 1970 Finals. That was in Game 3 of the Finals, and the Lakers lost to the Knicks anyway.

No doubt it was a great thought but you provide the evidence Rick Berry was right. In today's game its allowed but Ray definitely to 3 steps. At this point theonly people it matters to are those who were in a Spurs uniform who missed out on a ring. Side note in today's game he may have gotten 5 steps base on what James Harden and Stef Curry do every time they do that step back.

But notice the positioning in the rebound, Bosh ripped it away from everyone then out to Allen, once the shot went up, Wade closed in for a rebound, he could've rebounded and back out to Rio/James. Although it was also pretty stupid to ask for the ball considering how perfect the play worked out for the ball to end up in the hands of the greatest 3-point shooter of all time.

to, all saying it was travel, "The NBA rule on traveling was described by the league this way: A player who receives the ball while moving is allowed a two count rhythm but must release the ball prior to the third step touching the floor. Does Allen take a third step? Looking at the replay I don’t think so. The NBA allows a “gather” and two steps and Allen is well within that." So Allen, "gathered" the ball, then took, one, then two, and then released.

Refs didn't call it in the Heat of the moment and I don't blame them, but if your trying to understand the rules of the game, by the rule book that was a travel.
