@@lawrencesmith814the offense is designed with a bunch of weapons and you have a QB whose best attribute is running. Offense would run better with a Purdy, Cousins, etc style QB. But fans don't want to hear it.

Im angry & I want to blame Hurts but Baker has two no# 1 WR Evan’s/Godwin & their third Wr Shepherd is a no2# Wr…… Hurts has Dotson a skinny guy who can’t hold up or get open by himself (Howie trading a rd 3 pick for Dotson is horrendous !)…. Campball is a no#5 & Ross is not even a #5

I'm with you 💯 and have been saying it since he got benched by Saban for Tua to save the national championship against Georgia. This QB is complete dog water, can't read a defense, doesn't go through progressions, holds the ball too long, plays hero ball, and runs a bad RPO. Everyone wanted to argue with me for years....

Well Ray, I saw it before in regards to 6:08. After the Steelers's 2003, Rooney kept his HC (Cowher) and fired his DC (Lewis) and OC (Mularkey).

Eagles are DONE for many many many years ahead. The Eagles are a dysfunctional organization. Signs a HOF running back and then doesn’t run him. Has a pro-bowl TE and only uses him to block. Keeps a QB that specializes in turnovers and then gaslights the fans about how great he is. Dumpster fire organization and team.

The problem is their entire philosophy. They don’t believe that the short passing game leads to wins. It’s the reason that they like the Fangio style defense and it’s the reason their passing plays take so long to develop and all they want to do is chuck it downfield. They ignore the short, quick passing plays. It’s why the d backs play so soft in coverage. Their philosophy sux on both sides of the ball.

Everybody but Eagles fans know how overrated Hurts is. Like Tua, if everything around him is good, he's good enough. Otherwise, he's a turnover looking to happen.

Bringing back was a huge MISTAKE ! Getting rid of him now won’t help this year , but will make big difference for next year …. Waiting till the end of season will make it 2 more years to see the difference

I am a huge fan of the birds, but the gotta adjust this team, coach, quarterback are trash! Repeat of last year all the way! At very best they are mediocre, at worst we will see the worst defense in the league all year.

I don't need to see a photo of Ray. I need to see the reactions of Joe, John, and Rhea as to what Ray is saying. Foolish Didnger says he "doesn't know what the Defense is." The defensive players are selfish, and spoiled.. The defense will not sacrifice unless their pride is hurt like last week.

Describing Hurtz play...sounds like the same comments made about Wentz. How do we screw up QBs?

Hurts already came from college ruined, like most young QBs nowadays. Brady said it himself, college football doesn’t prepare QBs for pro offenses anymore, they rely on gimmicky dumbed down playbooks and on the kids legs and ability to throw to wide open receivers to do the job. Then the NFL teams don’t have time to teach them the basics of playing pro QB. The solution? “Play to their strength”, make easy read plays, RPOs, design runs and call it a day. The result is clear. Young QBs that can’t read defenses, can’t read their receivers, can’t play from under center etc. The smart teams should start looking for QBs currently playing in pro offenses in college in stop being so enamored with guys that “kinda play like Mahomes”.

We had this same problem with Wentz. "Somehow" guys like Greg Ward and Travis Fulgham stepped up, guys that are now out of the league. Do you think they step up by themselves? They were elevated, Wentz was still a great QB in 2019. We can win with Hurts, hell, we almost did. But he ain't that elite guy we thought he was.
