@jackieguccione94 DUMBASS they are UNDERRATED because whenever they mention the BEST male singing groups from that Era they NEVER mention to THE MOMENTS or RAY GOODMAN BROWN
Harry Ray, Al Goodman and Billy Brown. OMG what harmony, what smooth sound. You too have gone on to join the " Masters" Harry and Al. Sadly missed by your fans... Sing on forever. 🎶🎤🎶
They made you love even harder when you hear any of their songs. Love and respect to who ever you were in love with and it made you feel that love would last forever. Awesome!!!👌🙏❤
I SUBMITTED THEM THREE MONTHS AGO.. I SUBMITTED BOBBY BLUE BAND , AND FINALLY HE WILL BE SHOW CASED NEXT WEDS.. I TOLD UNSUNG THESE CATS NEED ONE ... FANTASTIC... OH I LOVED THIS SONG
Kasino Chestnut I wish they would do unsung on them because they got this song from my father Tommy Keith I'm his son Nate Keith and I know he wrote it
I didn't know that The Moments and Ray,Goodman and Brown were the same group..I heard this song many times but this is the first time I saw this performance...These guys are amazing and sound wonderful...Harry has that Smokey Robinson voice but he's a great singer in his own right ..Hell they all can sing and they sound well together....,They are truly timeless...
I remember these cuts because they sent a message of pure romance no guns just plain old fun with the one you loved. Even if it wasn’t real love you felt love today we see things as what we strive for and that is where our Lord and Savior comes into play be Blessed Baby Boomers.
My big brother used to hold my hands and sing this to me , when I was a little girl..The sweetest memories I carry with me when I hear this song, seeing the love of a big brother, I wish that I am able to find him after he became missing 2 years ago
Thanks to my sweet son who sent me this great video clip! This brought back many good memories! I really believe I am a Special Lady! My late husband would have done this for me today!
Now this is talent! These men know how to sing. Just listening to these men make the hair stand up on the back of my neck. What has happened to music, its noise these days. These guys know how to do it right! Love you Ray, Goodman and Brown!
Your father is so DOPE! The Rimshots!!! Super Disco is my favorite tune! I bought it back in 1976...I have 3 mint 45rpm copies and LPs. Awesome musician, writer, producer!
This should have been #1 on Hot 100. This song climbed to the top 5 within weeks! Still a monster hit! When it peaked in April 1980, #4 was "With You I'm Born Again" by Billy Preston & Syreeta, #3 "Ride Like The WInd" Christopher Cross #2 "Another Brick In The Wall" Pink Floyd #1 "Call Me" Blondie (tough line up of songs). You should see the songs it beat out "Off The Wall" Michael Jackson, "Working My Way Back To You" The Spinners, "I Can't Tell You Why" The Eagles.
I Thought It Had. I Recall Their Manager Saying That While In Vegas, He Had Asked A Hotel's Entertainment Manager If His Group Could Perform, But Was Denied. Then, The Manager Learned That The Group Had This Song Which On Top Of Charts At The Time, Returned And Agreed For RG& B To Perform; However, Since The Group Was Leaving Town, The Request Was Turned Down.
What a treat to be able to be in the back yard with a cold drink about ninety degrees and listening to Ray Good man and Brown out of sight when cats could have men and women almost in tears thank you for yesterday.
Young people pay close attention. This is how it’s done. There is no soul, no talent , no heart in the music today. This music reflected real talent , class, and soul you won’t find in today’s hip hop or pop music . No steals , no samples , no covers.
My guy is going through a rough time at this moment yet he found the time to send me this masterpiece while I slept. Waking up to this beautiful song is sheer joy. I love you Wayne with all my heart, body and soul
I was deeply in love with a girl back in the late 70s and had to move away to another country. This song brings back those memories even after all this time.
I have so much respect for these handsome young men Ray , Goodman , and Brown , one of my favorite song's was special Lady , of course it was more song's than Special Lady , I loved them all . 🥰💋🏆🥂❤❤❤
I absolutely love this song. Still listrning in 2024. I love the mudic from 60, 70,80. They dont mske music like this anymore. Wow what stunning vocals❤❤
Do men still feel this way about women? How come we don't hear songs like this anymore? I don't expect this kind of sensitivity or vulnerability from rappers, but do today's singers like women? I just can't imagine what songs dudes use nowadays to express their innermost feelings and appreciation for women. Kinda makes you wonder if they do...
Fantastic music, no matter what they call themselves! Sweet, swinging, soulful sound!! From Long Branch, New Jersey, no less, I know it well from the old days.
It my be a little hard for many of us to watch. Y'ALL know Ray passed at 43Years old. He had a bad heart condition. And by the time Ray found out' it was too late. I'm great full Ray knew KING JESUS CHRIST his LORD & Personal Saviour AMEN However I would really like to see an Unsung Show with The Famous Fabulous Magic Moments ! !!
Loved this from when I first heard it on the radio. But had to order this specially from my Record Store in Dundee, as they weren't "on their radar" I was politely told. It took 6 weeks for me to to receive it. BUT BOY WAS IT WORTH IT - I still play this now.
