I've been a fan of ray for about a year now.when I hear his voice it's like all the pain in my life goes numb and while he sings I drift away to a beautiful place.

This man is extraordinary! My favorite male singing voice of all time! I'm about to turn 54 in May, so I've had plenty of time to decide! He has a TRUE gift from God! Pure talent, and he's so soft spoken and humble. Dear Grammy members.....GIVE THIS MAN ALBUM OF THE YEAR!! Shame on them for not nominating "Monovision" for a ton of Grammy's!!

Pretty amazing how close his live performances are to the studio versions. I mean that's not easy to pull off with this style of songs.

Straight after this utterly brilliant performance, Jools Holland actually takes a small jibe at Ray for over-doing his allotted time compared to his warm up because he(Jules) had a little bit less time to interview the Manic Street Preachers. I love the Manic Street Preachers but i personally can see way more musical value in one minute of Ray Lamontagne and one of his classic songs than anything which might come out of the Manic's mouths...betting those lads may have felt the same. Especially this amazing song which has to go down as one of Ray's greatest yet.
