Never saw a lnyone in a bar or restaurant stand when the anthem played in games on the tv. If you can't stand then, you have 0 right to criticize the players for not doing it either. He could have prayed at his house or in the car where no one saw him and where theres no turmoil. But there are times when you go to God in the midst of storms. People are passionate on both sides of the issue of taking a knee. He went directly to the One who supersedes all of our problems and confusion.

Never thought I would say this.... but I love Ray Lewis. What a passionate man. His kids are absolutely blessed to have him as a father. His message: honor your country and do something positive to fight injustice. Too many just want to just shoot off their mouths. Wish they would get Ray's message so I could return to watching NFL football. As long as those pampered multi-millionaires continue to exercise their 1st Amendment right to piss on the flag, I will continue to exercise my rights and change the channel.

Ray I'm an American service member, well retired. I have fought in the Middle East, my gunner is an African AMERICAN. He damn sure helped to keep us alive, and I him. Apparently that seems to be true. I didn't understand why he did what he did but once I heard is explanation I understood. He is in a unique position to do a lot of good and I greatly admire him. We are all in this life together and we all perceive things differently and none of us are bad because of that. We simply need to work to understand each other and we all have different backgrounds and be tolerant towards others.

I no longer watch NFL, as a former fan and season ticket/PSL owner. I interact with my family, and realize how much time I wasted watching games. I also actively choose NOT to support any NFL sponsors. God Bless America. I am done with.
