That’s a bloody good week, scores in the cup final, takes a bird out, gets a massage then has 8 pints with the lads and goes and gets Motm and wins the double. What a life
Man u were way more professional. Parlour would have been world class under fergie. He had a good week but was always 4th or 5th in the pecking order behind Edu, Gilberto Silva, Wiltord etc
True its just 11 human cyborg hybrids now. Players like Jay Jay, Kanu, Ronaldinho, Zola, wouldn't even get a game. The game is all ruthless efficiency now and no artistry and flair. The moment Neymar got booked for doing a rainbow flick over an opponents head I knew the best days were gone. You have to watch obscure league like Japan, Brazil etc to see true football.
@@irieite9666 i think there is truth in what you’re saying. I dont think there’s a place for maverick footballers any more - truly unpredictable bad boy geniuses. But that is because the game is so fast and physical that that type of player would have no time on the ball and just couldn’t pull off the same stuff, or lead that bad boy lifestyle off the pitch. Is the game better for it? Not sure. From a pure sports/human performance perspective, the game is far far superior. But I agree that we’ve lost that spontaneity, drama and heroism.
@@irieite9666Yeah very true and I really hate it. There are no characters anymore. Just robot players who are excellent technically, savvy with the media and have been trained that way since around 9 years old.
