Ray is definitely one of them artists where you are on fire from his lyricism and in tears to see him overcoming 🥹 ... love this guy and everything he puts out.

Accept Salvation from Yahshua, or else perish, in the eternal lake of fire. Repent, and know pardon from your transgressions. Heaven exist, now obey the ESV Bible to know righteousness. Have a child-like relationship with God! Walk with other christians to know fellowship with good folks! End Times are right now. Learn from things that wouldn't easily appeal to you!
Coulda been more layered.. artistically speaking. Lines are there. The emotion and energy is too.. Im not saying be on some kendrick or even JID shit.. just add alil more layers to ya lines than just RAPPING. Adlibs.. lil synths.. more vocals.. shit play wit cha voice more..stack ya voice or the beat in eays that plays wit the tempo abit.. he def has the nice high pitch voice that you can play wit for more funner high energy or melodic shit.. unlike reason i think you have alil more in ya bag far as what you can bring to the table.. on not just rappin.. but this was a start! Play wit cadences mane.. deliveries... tones and such..get into different pockets ..
So, I found your SoundCloud and listened to the entirety of your first 2 posted (aka your most recent) tracks. Elijah, you're in no position to be "critiquing" anyone. First of all, NONE of your recommendations for Vaughn appear in your music. Secondly, it sounds like you're recording using the internal microphone on a laptop. I'm not going to comment on the quality of the rapping itself because that's subjective and I'm not interested in discouraging you from chasing your dreams. I'm interested in giving you some game: While critiquing in music IS essential, it's only valid when it comes from someone who has the credibility to give criticism. You don't. Not right now. Maybe you will tomorrow when you post a new song that displays a level of craftsmanship and investment FAR exceeding what's currently on your page. Maybe it'll take longer for that elevation to set in. But until that elevation is apparent, do yourself a favor: Just listen, take notes, and admire the people who are already living the dream you're chasing. Keep your "critiquing" to yourself. It carries absolutely no weight right now. That isn't to say it won't in the future. It just doesn't right now. If Vaughn's joint "was a start", what in God's name do you think your music is, bruh? You "critiquing" Ray Vaughn is like an 8th grade basketball player attempting to critique Jayson Tatum's game. Don't be that guy. And just so you understand that I'm speaking from a place of more credibility than you, but less than Vaughn's: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-gFdUbUY7mJw.htmlfeature=shared
