Debating how to approach this shot, keep the whole wall static and add in a bunch of smoke puffs and sparks as the beam strikes the wall or apply a smoke screen to hide the stamp tool patch job and call it a day. I'm wanting to go further here, not satisfied but this is the general idea. In the original they seemed to have problems getting on-set fx to sync up with the optical fx teams or whatever happened so they botched the final shot and apparently didn't have time in post to fix it... oh well, Ghostbusters: The Ecto Cooler Cut on the way.
