@@Akshay-xs1wf bro dont take on ego Grades of oil depends for hight and extreme low temperature In india in most states it dosent matter if its 10w30 or 10w40 Both can work in these conditions
@@yadneshbhoir963 it's not ego brother, each engine is designed differently by their respective manufacturers, the internal specifications like metal tolerances, gap between oil gallary, oil pump's working... Etc and some other factors like operating temperature, compression ratio, usage and work load, etc are the factors determining oil grade, the designers prefer 10w40 because it works the best on that engine,if grade is not an issue then they could also recommend 10w30 like rest of the manufacturers, each engine is build differently brother and their requirements are different. Yamaha uses 10w40 grade for their whole lineup in India. Using oil thinner than recommend grade can cause premature wear and tear, also leads to engine overheating and oil consumption. It's always better to use what manufacturers say. It won't cause any problems in short term but it will certainly affect the longevity of engine, sorry if you felt I told that in ego . It's sad to see people destroying these well build engines ...
