HEY RAYA! There are wooden reusable advent calendars that could be personalized for each family member. You and Louis could fill each other's calendars with fancy candy, trinkets, event tickets, love notes, jewelry, etc and Neo's could have candy, games, puzzles, stickers, etc. Great family tradition to start next year! You guys are so creative it would be so much fun to see what you have come up with.

Yess I’ve seen these, look great! Just need to have the head space to plan that, and order everyone’s gifts… and now I have to think about stockings? 🙈 I think when Neo is a bit older and can appreciate it I definitely want to put in the effort though!

@@RayaandLouis you don't have to fill all 24 windows at once, just put one little gift in each morning for Neo to find. That takes away the pressure of planning it all ahead. ;)

My family open gifts 1 by 1 too, I love it because the presents last all day and it doesn’t feel sad that it’s over too soon! We work through them all the way up to having our starter then eat come back, open more, eat main meal, come back open more and repeat…

Most people get sick when they take holidays or days off. When you calm down and give your body and mind space to relax everything comes up on the surface. It's amazing you see your family coming as a support and not burden. Hope Bec, baby girl and Eamon are doing good. Wish you merry holidays :)

Btw I just received my long sleeve t-shirt and I have to say - seeing Louie’s name on the package and knowing I watched him actually bleach these by hand was a great feeling!! It feels great to support you guys in that way. Also - side note - I am American but grew up in the UK and used to LOVE Brighton beach when I was a little kid around 5-6yo. I didn’t even know beaches were meant to have sand until a little older 😂 Well into my 40s now and loving the memories from watching your videos.

Definitely one gift at a time: I used to write a poem with every gift: the recipient then tried to guess what the gift was, based on the poem: then it would be opened. My grandchildren say that's the best part of the opening of the gifts.

22:47 a tip for large group opening, especially if there are gifts from people who aren't present! A list of who got what from who might be useful. I have a large family but I can see that you can keep track of 3!

13:22 I wrote a couple of times about a TON of those packaged, squeezable apple sauces and veggie pouches being recalled. It was several different brands, but all made at the same factory. Please check his brands to make sure they weren’t the ones that were recalled!!!!
