I get what everyone is saying...Apple's Airpods are primarily geared for sound quality, and sound quality should be everything, right? Well, I've had the original Airpods and the Airpods Pro 2. Personally, I don't like them. I'm CONSTANTLY having to readjust them and the keep falling out of my ears 50% of the time. Yes, I've tried every tip Apple offered with very little difference in it staying in-ear. Furthermore, I have cats in my house. My cat, Gnocchi, accidentally knocked my Airpods Pro 2 case off my nightstand by my bed once, and now the microphones on my Airpods Pro 2 don't work anymore. So...based on the price difference, I'm more than willing to sacrifice some sound quality and features for earbuds that will actually stay in my ears when I'm working out and that won't break.
Umm, I have no skin in the game but his crowd test for mic Raycon was way clearer to me when talking?? Was about to throw down some bills on Pods but now questioning...
My airpod pros die every year. I replace them, and they blow again a year later. I think the noise-canceling feature blows them up, so I avoided using it on the 2nd pair, but one still died on me. I am done with Apple earbuds and looking for a new brand.
I have gen 1 AirPods Pro, I’ve enjoyed them. But one fell out of my ear and rolled off of boat into river. Now the one left is starting to sound like the speaker is about wore out. They’ve been great overall. Only issue is, if I wear them for a few hours a day for a few days straight they start to hurt my ears
I think the ray cons are much better. Me friend lend me her airpods once, bc i forgot my raycons to training. But while shadowboxing, they kept falling out. Raycons never fell out, so i like them alot more.
Never used the Raycons but I have the gen 2 Pros. I work out with them quite a bit and I haven’t had a problem with them staying in personally. Even after running for 30 minutes nonstop. Only thing I noticed is they make my ears feel itchy after prolonged use but that could just be me
I do feel like he was leaning towards the air pods more than the raycons. I got that from his bit of the raycon owner bribing him to say good things. But there are some things that he didn't take into account with the raycons that I feel would have changed his review of them. Raycon has different bud sizes. This way if they are too loose you can increase the size to get that fit. Plus his shake test is goofy since I bet heavy MMA fighters are not listening to their tunes in a boxing match. Raycon does have three different sound profiles that you can use if you find one not to your liking. Sound quality is important and these are cheaper so yeah. However they do try to fix it by giving a small bit more choice of the user on how the sound will be. A lot of times people who get Raycon just want to listen to music on the go without having to deal with wired headphones. They are not really looking for something of ultra sound quality and if they were then yes, Raycon isn't for them. Also Apple does have a larger company behind them and some people are against Apple for the restrictive devices they sell so they will look elsewhere like Raycon.
I have both. My airpod pros are the 1st generation and are starting to not hold a charge so I bought a pair of raycon's. There were different but I liked them pretty alright until I lost them out of the case one day and don't know where it happened. It wasn't the first time the raycon buds case opened up while hanging from my key ring and they fell out. I didn't mind the raycons other than that.
Good work this is so helpful. Wish you showed how the case was charged or show the charge port of Raycon. Wish you stated the IPX rating and comfort on a pillow should be in all reviews for headsets since sooner or later we will be on a pillow in the plane/car/bed/couch. Love the shake test!
If the AirPods fitment was good for me I would definitely go with them. I tried from day one AirPods to now. The Raycon fitness buds fit my ears. So I switched. I do love my apple products lol
I love raycon but within ths last two montha i have gotten 3 pairs but returned them all thwy worked really well but i kept getting defected ones where the audio will glitch out for no reason mostly come and ho after using it for like an hour or so my first pair i still have but the left side gave out since i have had them for 2 years and have served me well but now im at a lost i have adhd and if i go out i need earbuds to help me be distracted to get me through out the time i'm out of the house amd raycons cover everything i love bout earbuds but i again gottwn three defective ones and i'm at a loss on what to do and what other brand i can get that are similar to raycons
@@benjira my first pair worked fine lastes me two years and had the same phone the whole time and i'm never away from my phone Especially while wearing the earbuds and the last 3 have had the same issue and i tested everything and i know it isn't my phone
I’ve got the same problem. Had the red fitness raycons. My left one kept dying after only 30 mins of listening and it was previously charged overnight! 😡 The replacements they sent me are defective: the left one doesn’t even turn on or charge! Googled it and apparently, it’s a common problem with raycons.
This is like putting a child vs Usain bolt in a track race of course the airpods are gonna be better they are way more expensive and are a newer gen (i think😶🌫️)
Which of the 2 give out the most radiation? Maybe get an EMF reader and do a video on that. I don't know about Raycon but those Ipods give out a leathal amount of radiation.
