The album is My 21st Century Blues and its a belter from start to finish, It's very personal and very dark in places. It won album of the year at the Brits. She also won song of the year for Escapism (from the album) and songwriter of the year. Which for an independent artist is one hell of an achievement. She performed the whole album live at the Royal Albert Hall with a full orchestra, and it was so good that it's been released as an album in its own right. After struggling for years with a label that wouldn't support her music she's now setting the world on fire.

Awesome info! Thank you very much for that mate. Much appreciated. I have been told a few times I need to check the album start to finish. Sounds like a good plan to me. I was shocked and amazed when I was told she is independent. That is mind blowing when you see her numbers on RU-vid. Great to see she will now BLOW up even bigger after the Brits wins!! Buzzing for her :)

Yes, the Royal Albert Hall version is epic. The whole team must have known it was something very special because they didn't put a foot wrong for the whole performance and the recording is very high quality. The prep must have been huge but boy did it pay off. It's a live album that's going to stand the test of time. Brilliant performance from every last one and Raye was in her element and loving every second.

The whole Albert Hall performance is still available on BBC iPlayer. It is the best live performance I've seen in more than a decade. You may need to relax afterwards. It's very intense and emotional at times. Choir members tear up at times as to audience members. An event they will probably never forget. Very special.

@@M8OFMINE I discovered this gifted artist just 2 days ago and I am very happy to know her now. I'm also amazed at your honest, enthusiastic reaction. That's very nice! 🤩 There is a young Polish artist, he writes and composes his own songs and he helped create the video. This is Jann, maybe you like him? Gladiator is a critical song about the music industry. Currently has a European tour with Madison Beer as the opening act. I’d say listen to the full album start to finish “my 21st century blues” to get some background/ info on her story and then there’s so many insane live performances the Brits one last night was unbelievable

You need to check out the medley she performed at the brits, it's on her own channel. She won a 6 brits that night which broke a record.

Are you sure about your numbers. ? just before the brits she had 662 subs , now its 677. a increase of 15 k . edit oh sorry i see this was 4 days ago so its a increase of 20k , soon it will be a million .
