I hadn't watched a frame of "Justified" until three years after "The Good Place" had ended. When I finally gave it a try in 2023, I watched all six seasons in three weeks. I'm glad I ran into this clip, because now I can really appreciate the Judge's rabid fandom. I'm a straight male and don't have the same reasons for loving the show that she did, but "Justified" is one of the best ever. If you haven't already; give it a try - you will be happy you did. I also really love "The Good Place" by the way, even though I think it copped out a bit in the end.
DO not watch the new Justified. That said, 2nd season is my favorite. But in my mind, THe last episode of Boba Fett is the true ending with Cad Bane replace by Boyd Crowder. Minus all the nonsense of the show. Just the showdown.
The theme music as he disintegrates is just the chefs kiss on this. I honestly can't remember if that was in the show or added for this clip. Either way it's perfection.
I just rewatched the episode of The Good Place (S4E10) to find the answer to this question. The Justified theme song was added for this RU-vid video, it was not present in the episode of The Good Place.
Haha could be. However Olyphant did do a short guest run on the later Office seasons, maybe 2 episodes, so I sort of suspect he's an actor friend that Mike Schur knows and is game for a little comedy now and then :)
Okay well now I looked up a Mike Schur interview about that appearance and apparently he only got to know Tim directly while Justified was ending, well after The Office spots so there goes my theory :) I guess Schur was already on to P&R then.
One of my favorite parts of the good place. I'm so happy someone finally uploaded Raylen Givens. Hilarious! Good Place fans...if you have never watched Justified give it a chance.
I love that the Judge encapsulates all of us that binge watches a show in one go and can't shut up about their interests, so they need to talk about them with someone until they're done with the show. 😅
I started Justified on second season. Bought the first. It's not as good, but I wouldn't binge watch it. If it's really good, you want to pace yourself and savor it.
The first film I saw Timothy Olyphant in was "The Girl Next Door" and I've never been able to see him as any other character than he played in that. I don't know why.
all of his character, he plays as a jerk. Accept hitman. It's unwatchable I didn't see deadwood. Justified, corrupt cop. Boba Fett, a self proclaimed Law enforcement who base his position from a stolen weapon Every episode of Conan, that he was on Santa Clarita Diet, bad Husband.
He really carried some parts of that movie, probably the most consistently good part (other than the soundtrack I guess). I'm still very fond of it all though haha. But yeah great presence as always.
