+Vindaloser Same here, but instead I watched my mother play. My hands were still too small for the keyboard, but if I found it again (or got the 3d version) I could probably do decent at it.
This is the PlayStation 1 version of Rayman 2: The Great Eacape where it utilizes voice acting which is a final result of having half of the game missing, and some levels were completely cut out of the PS1 version like The Sanctuary of Water and Ice and The Top of the World.
+Jak Cooper Gamer Not really. All your doing is chasing after Razorbeard while dodging various hazards. Honestly this battle drags on more then it needs too. In the N64/Dreamcast version the battle can go a lot quicker depending on how skillful you are with your shots.
it's good to see the ps1 version still get some recognition. I only ever played this version and revolution for ps2 but would love to eventually get my hands on the n64 and dreamcast versions one day.
maybe bc you was very young when you played it? i remember all txt was like "hrsgwzddjut" before i learned to read. must be the same with other lang before you learned that others even exist or smt

To those wondering which version is the original for those who want the most authentic Rayman 2 experience the 64 and PC ones are the original version. The 64 one is basically a port of the PC version with N64 graphics.
Rayman 2 (PS1) All Bosses Boss 1 Garish Boss 2 Axel Boss 3 Jano Boss 4 Rocky Boss 5 Ninjaws Boss 6 Foutch Boss 7 Scaleman Boss 8 Clark Final Boss - Grolgoth & Razorbeard + Ending & Credits
Rayman is one of my favorites would love to see what these look in Rayman 3 Hoodlum Havoc style especially Jano The Cave of Bad Dreams and everything else. Anyone agree?
4:30 awh no fair, you get to explore the treasure room after defeating jano again? on the 3ds version the portal is at the room entrance and is unavoidable :(
He is considered a boss, since that you end with him on the cave of bad dreams.... And... He was BIG, so I found it very convincing that he was a boss ;).
La version del rayman 2 para ps1 es la mejor de todas la lucha en el tunel me parece mucho más dinamica y divertida y epica que la pelea version donde en el final hay que hacerlo caer a la lava
i remember the manual said you can collect 1000 lums but i never got more than 800/800. i thought the last lums are bonus lums you can find in the black doors you see sometimes. i tryd so hard to go in any of them but never was successful. :( btw the graphics are way better than i thought but the game is still very dark and scary. had a lot of bad nightmares with rayman 2.
peter meter I pretty much didn't sleep or go out (of my own free will) in order to find them all. They were tricky! u needed to have upgraded powers to find some or my "favorite", go through a 2th portal when rocket flying in a high level to go back to one of the first levels, where I died so many times just to try to get the lums until I gave up. Or that 1000th lum in the death level, that one doesn't even show up in the collection status because it's technically dead. (Razorbeard ate it so that's why it's in the death level) It shows on the status once collected.
Because rayman original was supposed to be damn difficult, the 3D sequels were supposed to be easyer( also making a 3D game that hard as the first would result in the game being too broken of the amount of the difficulty, or they could not make a difficult 3D game, I always thought 2D games were harder back in the day, but this is just my opinion)
