I love all these stages, but is it just me or do some area not match the music... Plus I love the idea of the 8-bit stages but did the last one have to be so....trippy
+starmann222 I think other than "Granny's World Tour" they are all real songs (Castle Rock - Black Betty, Mariachi Madness - Eye of the Tiger, Gloo Gloo - Woo hoo, etc.)
You have a Wii U right? If so, have you tried both versions of this game? I kinda wanted to buy the Wii U version but knowing the Murfy stages are just touch-screen qtes with no input on your character kinda throws me off, probably because I played the 360 version first and the Murfy stages play normally in that version, yet everybody praises the touch screen ones in the Wii U version. Is it worth it on Wii U? This is a big issue with the game because half the game is Murfy stages.
+TheMonkeyBomb Grannies world tour 8 bits is REALLY easy for me,I did it on my first try,I was like: Here goes nothing,But turns out i finished it without dying and with all teensies... I was so suprised
+super karblack All you really have to do is keep holding the control stick right as well as hold the run button. As long as you remember when and where to jump/attack you should be just fine.
+TheMonkeyBomb 8 bit grannies world tour is WAY easier than it looks. Beat it second try. 8 bit Dragon slayer I agree with you though, that level was one of the most difficult levels in the entire game.
Fun fact for those who don’t know: Several of the music levels are based on actual tunes. Castle Rock = Black Betty by Ram Jam. Mariachi Madness = Eye of the Tiger by Survivor. Gloo Gloo = Woo Hoo by The 5,6,7,8’s. Dragon Slayer = Antisocial by Trust. Meanwhile, Orchestral Chaos and Grannies World Tour are (semi-?) original compositions by Christophe Heral. At least, that’s what I’ve found. Feel free to correct me.
I only own the Xbox 360 version. Like you said, I wasn't thrilled with the Murfy stages on the Wii U so I decided to get this version. I can't say whether it's worth it on the Wii U since I've never played the game on it (aside from the demo)
Here's a challenge: Turn on Rayman Legends (If you have it) and play along with one of the songs on in the video. HOWEVER, don't look at your CONSOLE screen, look at the VIDEO screen. Have fun >:D
I may be late about this but has anyone noticed when Rayman bounces off of those blue springs he can be heard going "WEEEEEEEE!" I am pretty sure everybody already knows that but coming from a guy who never played this game its actually surprising for me! XD
I hate that Orchestra level, specifically that part just before the big drop where you have those 2 vines that chase you up those drums then then have to time/pressure the perfect jump there. I raged so much at that and even more when it was the 8-Bit version where the screen turned to static.

The visual effects on the pseudo 8-bit version...are they really in the game ?...
Impossible,on Gloo Gloo the same very floating pirate ship was on it. Impossible how, well if you look into the history of ubisoft then you'll get in the VERY FIRST RAYMAN EVER it's your final boss and it gets DESTROYED see what I mean impossible!
To the ones complaining about the 8-Bit versions visuals: You were the fortunate kids that didn't have to turn to channel 3 to play a game, weren't you?
Grannie's World Tour 8 bit is incredibly hard, it must have taken two of us about 30 attempts till we got lucky and finished it. I'd watched this Yourtube video before doing it and could not believe those multiple screen effects would be in the game but sure enough there they are. A couple of tips - use 2 players - if one dies the other can keep running and might get a chance to revive you. Do the original version of the level a few times first that way you know the timing and placement of the jumps and obstacles.
gosling999 actually I had an easier time with that one than I did mariachi madness. But then again it threw me way off when it did that effect. But second attempt I was anticipating it so I just looked at only one of the boxes in the corner of my tv and didn't find it that hard really.
